Damn, I haven't played a single one of these games this year (last time I played Minecraft regularly was in 1.8).
I knew it was a slow year for games that suit my tastes, but I think the only new game I played in 2021 actually came out last year.
Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye wins easily. Go play it.
Don't read any of the comments on it the game is entirely based on knowledge and reading them will ruin it.
It’s a shame Metroid dread has such a weak sound track, raven beaks theme and emmi chase are actually really good. The rest of the game has such a weak melody in all of the other songs
I’ve never played any of these except for Minecraft so I’ll go with that but even then, I haven’t checked out it’s new update yet.
I bet the songs in Batman: The Brave And The Bold beat all of those.
I haven’t played any games that came out this year, and Infinite isn’t fully out. Without having played the campaign, I really can’t comment on its soundtrack.
The menu music is kinda -blam!-, though.
NieR Replicant Ver. 1.22474487139… if that counts. It’s a remake, but they are all new arrangements.
Er, spoiler warning. I unfortunately couldn’t find the song without the video.

Neo: The World Ends With You if it doesn’t. Neo almost beats Replicant outright, honestly. Neo’s soundtrack is amazing!
