I've noticed a lot of people using a cronus zen and I'm wondering if bungie has any plans on addressing this issue. If not then is bungie giving a free pass for cheating on a console?

Imagine being a cheater for a minute…then running to the forums to complain about other cheaters…oh the irony. Network manipulation is cheating by the way.
Yes, Bungie allows cheaters. Why do you think they have aim assist for the PC portion of the game.
Most of the people use a Chronos or Xim Apex to use a mouse and keyboard to get the Aim Assist of the controller while on console, but It is so bad that even the PC players are forced to use these devices. And with the latest updates to the game, they made the turn speed even faster for people using Chronos or Xim Devices. Before, you could use a Xim Apex for aiming, but your turn-speed was slow. Well, not anymore, you can turn fast, and get controller aim-assist while using a mouse and keyboard. Your reticle literally sticks on the targets head, and they are deleted.
It will never be solved by Bungie either, because both devices pass though whatever controller they are using, so the game just sees a controller. There is no way to ever detect it.
And, of course they don't want to talk about it, because if the general public knew that everyone was cheating in PVP, they would quit the game. I'm just here for the PVE portion, so it only bothers me a little bit.
If you suspect cheating or abuse, report them via the in game tool or If does not work, you can try the Manual Tool or reportinging from your game history. Bungie's SRT does not review forums for reports.
