To each their own. I think Halo feels incredibly dated, its basically Halo 3 with a grappling hook that plays on a newer more powerful console.
Edit: Graphics are great though.

I'm not trying to judge how it plays since I haven't played it yet, but having said that, it really does look like Halo which is not necessarily a bad thing. I just really think this game has all the potential in the world as far as PvP.

Halo for sure does. It takes all the RNG that Destiny has and removes it. That alone allows them to create a far more balanced and competitive PVP environment. Halo and Destiny are VERY different games that can easily co-exist.

Because most of these games do something similar as far as the RNG nature of the way matches can take place. Especially when the player population gets lower or a game has actually been out long enough for everyone's stats to be set in stone. For all we know 6 months from now people will be having the same problems with that game that they are in this one presently. There are reasons that the rng gameplay in Destiny is a little more obvious than other games though. Like Telesto. There's no way to balance the Telesto. The Telesto balances you.

Halo 5 made a bold attempt at something new. 343i eventually bowed to pressure from the loud 7k MCC players and took a step back. The gun play is good though. It's consistent and it feels like you always have a chance to win a fight. Destiny is just a race to the most one hit kills. Destiny 2 would feel a ton better if not for that. I think no one should spawn with OHk ammo. That alone would make the fights better, to me. YMMV.

You spawn with 6 one shot kills per team, not counting the abilities. It's an exercise in keeping your head down to avoid a dodging shotgun ape or a sniper. It's not very interesting. One could play all quick play, but what for? The rewards are bad. It's ridiculous. It's not ridiculous because I, am bad, it's bad because the system is bad.

Trials is broken at its very foundation, not only because of the over all PVP issues though. Trials has its own unique set of issues. I feel like Bungie/Destiny has all the winning pieces but cannot quite figure how they all work together. Their obviously trying to though. PVP is getting a big update in a few weeks and lets be real that step one in larger changes.
