Not permanent. Trials is endgame PvP where yah need teams and whatnot. It should come here and there but not permanent.

I understand your point but don’t you think there should be something set aside for highly competitive coordinated teams where they can compete against similar teams? I was always of the mindset that’s what Trials was for. Then you can get your team together and see how you stack up. Maybe as you said my belief is antiquated but do you at least get where I’m coming from?
-
Destiny as a whole has always been about getting a fireteam together to beat or attempt the most difficult content. Trials isn't too different from that. A bunch of solo players who make no effort to get better at the game want freelance for an easier experience. What kind of bs is that?
-
I agree. I keep hearing people say once a month and I’m cool with that I suppose. But Trials is supposed to be end game top tier content. You don’t matchmake raids so Trials shouldn’t either. Bring your fire team. Even though that’ll eliminate me from trials most of the time as my schedule is whack and doesn’t jive with my friends I still think it’s the right thing to do.

Isn't that what it's meant to be you play people of the same skill at the same passage step then the best team win, its not meant to be one team constantly matched against inferior skill match after match
-
No, as that contradicts the purpose of the mode. If you play people on your level you will end up in six or seven 50-50 situations. You can toss a coin that many times and see what result you are getting. Your system would only make sense in a situation where there is a league of players, they play against each other and the overall results determine the winner. In a situation where you have the entirety of player population in one pool by getting better you secure an advantage over players you left behind in terms of skill. The better you get the smaller the chances of coming across someone that will break your win streak. Now, a more practical example. I practice PvP with some real badasses and streamers, folks, that are perfectly capable of doing double carries in Trials. It's really the top 3%. I do also sometimes watch them play against each other. And I've never seen any of them win more than 3 or 4 matches in a row.
-
So it boils down to carries and they won't be able to do as much successfully if they were matched against similar skill set then people shouldn't band around it's end game, it's not for everyone, get good if a they want to do is pub stomp
-
No, it doesn't boil down to carries. You are clearly misreading what I wanted to say. I just wanted to show you that your system wouldn't work within trials. Again, if players at the same level compete against each other no one will have a significant advantage which means no one goes flawless. If no one can go flawless there is no reason for having Trials in the game.

Jonny_ Reggaeにより編集済み: 11/25/2021 12:39:53 PMPeople have still been going flawless, more so since the labs started at most people want the solo que the only ones that push back are the high tier players because they can't go flawless hundreds a times a weekend because they are put in a pool against same very goid players, even if they are put against same skill level someone has to win and best players still go flawless I'm not trying to argue I just don't agree
-
Not completely true, a lot are equally matched but aren't going against full stacked sweats with hundreds of flawless every single game and playing solo has helped, the option for solo should be there as an option as sometimes your friends aren't always on when you want to play
-
People were going flawless because they played against people below their level. That wouldn't have been the case if they implemented a system you are suggesting. The flawless queue just removed the top tier players from the pool
