Does anyone actually care about the Anniversary dlc?
How long can 1 dungeon be fun for really? 5-6 runs at the most?
What are you going to do with Gally? Run the same stuff you're running now, only with Gally? How long will that be fun for?
What are you going to farm Eyesluna and Longbow for? They are PvP weapons. So, are you going to grind for them and play pvp? Will they make pvp better? The peer to peer, cross play lag, terrible lobby balancing and matchmaking. What will these 2 guns do exactly?
I mean, who in the right mind is actually excited about this? Nothing is going to change.

16 通の返信I don’t see the value in the price point. Too little received for too high a cost. I still have questions about what I would get for my money. Is Ghally received after purchase or just an opportunity to run some event and hope rng is favorable? Too many unknowns.

1 返信Honestly. Probably not as many as Bungie would’ve liked. Starving for new content after an overly long season and here’s what $30 gets you? Seems like too much money for too little content in my opinion which is why I haven’t bought it. Price needs to be cut in half to feel somewhat worth it.

It's a trick. They let you play mediocre guns just enough to get you hungry. Then stretch it long enough to change hunger into madness. Like a mad dog frothing and drooling. Then they throw a bone, with a price tag on it. Bingo! A hungry mad dog doesn't have a choice but to bite. It's a trick! The oldest dog trick in business! In here, I call it the Gjallarhorn trick. They gave you Gjallarhorn in D1, one of the OP guns and very fun gun to use in the game. Then they took it away and gave you mediocre rockets instead. Stretch that long enough and that gets you really hungry for a good rocket launcher. Then Boom, they drop a bone with a 30 dollar price tag! Hungry dogs don't have a chance but to bite. Lol. It's a trick! The oldest and schemiest trick in the book!

15 通の返信When most games do an anniversary event they give out free stuff. In here we get a price tag on a dungeon with a few cosmetics worth almost the price of a new dlc.

Price is kinda silly. But as it is for the 7th anniversary it seems to be a way of saying "Happy Birthday Us! Give us money.". If monetization wasn't already so ingrained in this game I would have no problem with this cost. There's nothing wrong with giving extra money to a studio that you respect. I bought multiple copies of Hollow Knight and Deep Rock Galactic (to give to friends) because I felt that the studios deserved the money for making such an amazing game and sticking to consumer friendly business practices. A community focused way of going about this anniversary would've been: - Free Dungeon - Free Gally - $15-20 cosmetic pack Not only would some respect be earned. But plenty of whales would've still bought the cosmetic pack. And that's what the cosmetics were for right? Funding. Content. Why exactly are we paying more and more for this "funded" content? When it comes down to it. $100 isn't that much for grown adults who like destiny. So most of us will get the bundle and move on. It's just so damn disappointing.

Lost interest when they announced removing beyond light from game pass. Sound like I’ll have to buy it to have access to supers etc. Might come back for January dlc, unless they make beyond light a pre req to be able to play that properly.

You'll build your toon, find combos that work for you.. then have it taken away again. You'll still only have the same 5 helms,armors, weapons that drop. It'll still take 15 mins to decrypt usless engrams that contain said 5 usual armor or weapons. You'll still not have favorite shaders You'll still be forced to play PVP or PVE to progress on some redundant bounty You still won't have selective matchmaking for endgame content You'll still be forced to play 3 characters if you want to get raid rewards.. You still won't have daily story missions You still won't have option to use more than 1 exotic weapon, even tho exotics have been nerfed to be even with non exotics ( because cry ) The company still have Luke Smith DMG will still lock threads that are about veterans and promote political groups instead. Adding.. You'll be told to be critical and tell us what you don't like BUT.. watch what you say or You'll get banned.

I’m excited about new stuff to collect and content to run. I play pvp regularly and enjoy it a great deal. I rarely experience the state you claim all pvp is in. Remember just because you have an opinion does not mean everyone else shares your opinion.

It looks like I am going to spend more time in Monster Hunter. I am buying Witch Queen and all seasons though. Ghorn can probably stay in D1 for me. It’s not like I did not have a chance to buy it from Xur and did not buy it. Hahah. I will miss it as both Xur and Bungie made it super expensive in my book.

Little to no interest currently. Don't care for Gally, it won't be the original greatness, most likely similar to the Rise of Iron iteration. Care nothing for Thorn armor. Dungeon is a toss up. The known Bungie retro weapons are mostly irrelevant to me outside of the Marathon stuff. That IS neat. You want my interest to be grabbed? Show me some Halo stuff. Weapons, armor, ships, etc. THAT would grab my attention and even go on to perhaps persuade me.

I'm not paying to get it back (so at some point they can remove it from the game like the other dlcs I paid for) and keep doing the same old grind. I'm try the six man free event and go back to playing other games.

I paid for it so I will be enjoying it. As will many others who PAID and will ENJOY. Either you like it or you don't. Nobody is forcing folks to pay for this and or play it. Grow up and find a different game if it bothers you so much 🤣
