I understand that the game mode is supposed to be hard, but that fact that I am constantly being put up against players that are significantly better than me and has significantly better guns than I do is absolutely baffling
I don’t understand why I have to play against people who are significantly better than me instead of my own skill level, the game Mode feels like a ranked game mode so why is it not treated as one?
Please keep in mind that I only have about 145 hours in the game and the opinion of one person so I don’t really understand how the game or the game modes work
Fyi I’m not gonna stop playing because people are better than me, I find the mode pretty fun even though it’s challenging, thanks for the advice if you can give any🙏

4 通の返信Because the so called good players don't like playing other good players. They prefer beating lesser peeps as they probably got bullied and this makes them feel good!

11 通の返信Idk but i was matched vs someone with 1.5m kills at crucible and here i am sitted at 6% win matches, totally balanced

Reading these comments, it’s clear why this forums isn’t taking seriously. You are all so consumed with blind anger towards ANYONE better than you and it’s just so pathetic to read all these and know they aren’t troll comments. I wish you all the best recovery.

1 返信I don't really understand the comments like this. I get the gripe but it makes no sense. Its an endgame tournament mode, you are playing people in your skill level its just win/card based. Now folks having better guns than you that's a you issue, can't knock folks who play the game more than you. You can get loot regardless now so its a grind if you aren't winning, but, Trials is a mode that's designed for a team to dominate you, of course there is going to be ALOT of sweats

5 通の返信Finding a consistent team to play with is also key. Also try playing when the flawless pool is active on Sunday. You’ll probably have a better time then.

3 通の返信My thing is. Any time I ever see streamers play against a team. It's almost like the enemy team never pays attention to radar. Never team shoots. And pushes the most ridiculous scenarios. But here I fight against camping snipers/empowered monarqes that never push. Or the exact opposite with shatterdiving hunter/flying melee titans that know exactly how to handle the shakey hud to get perfect shots every time. And I'm not talking about 3 wins 5 wins. I've seen wallah win against some of the most casual teams on his 7th. Literally running into the fray and get more than 3 seconds in it and still come out alive. I've watched Zk 1v3 the most oblivious in his 7th as well just running into snipe Lanes Scott free and idiots just rushing one by one and not as a team at him. it just makes me wonder~

Because it’s meant to be only the best of the best that can get to the lighthouse. If they put in SBMM it would break the community up into tiers and then it would be only the best in a tier would get to the lighthouse. This would lead to the situation where the bottom of the best players couldn’t get to the lighthouse but the best of the worst could. Even though the better players would beat the worst players every time.

8 通の返信Wesにより編集済み: 11/23/2021 5:38:51 AMBecause it is an open tournament? Implement SBMM as is and then you just let the bottom 1% fight for the same rewards as the top 1%, even though the latter has to fully utilize more experience, knowledge, understanding, and skill when it comes to their games in order to win. That doesn't make sense. If you want SBMM in Trials you must also advocate for a fully flushed out ranked system or skill tiers with unique, meaningful rewards increasing with each tier. And you'd probably have to ditch the "win 7 in a row to go flawless" thing. Winning 7 in a row at an approximate 50% win rate is not likely for anyone.

ThatGuyにより編集済み: 11/23/2021 11:21:46 PMNo one would go flawless with any sort of consistency if there was effective SBMM in Trials. Getting 7 game wins in a row does not come from SBMM that is working how its supposed to. Edit: Bad use of past tense.

24 通の返信Because Trials was never intended to be competitive. It’s design was predatory. Strong player roflstomping weaker players for fun and prizes wasnt a bug….it was the goal.

2 通の返信The reality of this game mode is no one goes flawless under SBMM. It would be a statistical anomaly. If someone were to go flawless with SBMM enabled I would tell them to go buy a lottery ticket.

Muninnにより編集済み: 11/24/2021 2:04:17 PMStreamers, they and Bungie are in cahoots ... ZK let it slip when cheaters were real bad, Bungie told them to stop calling out cheaters. Like if they did that, that meant someone with unlimited heavy wasn't cheating lol. Also, you can get in-game rewards for gifting two subs to your favorite streamer ... if it quacks like a duck, it probably is. Streamers provide free advertising for Bungie's game and in return receive kickbacks in one form, or another.
-
2 通の返信You should rename your post why I can’t get free loot for working hard at a game mode that requires skill and effort. Literally bungie has made it easy for you guys to go flawless yet people still complain.

PvP player populations only show up for a stomp… If you have a 1.0 k/d you are in the top 30% - that means everyone under is basically being farmed… They tried sbmm and all the PvP regulars hated it because they don’t like playing each other… They had trials without matchmaking and no one played it then either fir the same reasons… The regular PvP crowd only plays if they have an unfair advantage- the numbers bore that out with all these trials experiments…and Bungie settled on a system that allowed the regulars to farm the rest for a couple of days…when it was a win based matchmaking system all the regulars cried again - they will tell you to get gud but they don’t wanna… This PvP is one of the worst in gaming - don’t play PvP at all…
-
If you wonder why SBMM should never be a thing, just go try out the complete -blam!- show of bad connections that is the "Glory/ranked" game mode. Not that Destiny has good connections in the other playlists, but it's still a million times better then Glory.
-
1 返信cause streamers will start crying again when they can't carry for $... and it's hard matches, they don't like hard work... obviously... their career choice says it all.
-
9 通の返信Because the very good players claim that trials is only for the best of the best... ...but they don't want to play against the best of the best. 🤣🤣🤣
-
3 通の返信So, flawless for everyone then? Wait - if we had that no one would actually ever go flawless....
-
You have to play them cause you guys are all playing for the same rewards… If you want better players to have separate matchmaking. You need to give them better rewards. If not their is no incentive to be good at this game…

1 返信Haunterにより編集済み: 11/23/2021 5:44:19 AMWhy would there be? It's not your practice session, it's endgame pvp. Also lmao at having a mode who's main goal is 7 straight wins have mm that pushes 50% win ratios
