I'll admit I don't fully understand either what bungie is doing to help the titan not get more powerful, but stay at an even level, unless there is something extra to help the rams against shotty's that bungie didn't mention, the ram's are about to die. I'll say it here, with the start up needed, and not being able to fire back while running, if you or I get rammed, we most likely deserved it, the ram is a vibe check to catch lax player's, and with how many players are death gripping their shotguns, a ram landed is a ram earned for both sides, and after that no one will just go around a corner recklessly for the rest of the round, it evens itself out to me. maybe if they let a ram titan fire back while sprinting (even if the accuracy is terrible) that could help, but like you hinted here, shotguns are about to get even nastier since there are not going to be as much one hit kill moves to shut (up)down an ape.
