Nice try trying to sneak Year 1 of D2 back down our throats. Twab will not be well received. Abilities is what makes the pvp so unique. You literally could've made an exclusive gamemode that only allowed gun play and no abilities and put some nice exclusive rewards in the playlist and people who want a solely gunplay focused pvp mode to play could've played that.
You're doing almost everything you did in year 1. With the long ability times and reduced lethality of abilities. You're trying to limit us to 1 super a game which made pvp so boring in year 1. No one asked for this. Its a matter of time before you bring back double primaries. Like are you forgetting that gunplay only and the teamshotting that followed is what killed Destiny 2 year 1!?! I'm all for encouraging gunplay. But this is not that way.
The whole community literally just wanted a shatterdive nerf and a dunemarchers fix to the chaining. Like LMAO.
If i wanted to just use my guns and have ridiculously high ttk values, I'd play halo infinite, which im going to. But its nice to have a unique pvp experience to come back to that CURRENTLY exists in D2.
So, fyi. Ill be making my replies to some comments here in the original post as Edits because I cannot reply to comments since using a clown emoji is not nice according to moderators?
Edit's (replies to certain comments):
Saying that "tons of abilities have their own way of being broken" sounds to a lot like "anything that can get a kill when used correctly is OP. " lol
Uhh….I love the changes. Now instead of people crutching on Shatterdive, Stag Rifts, and nade spam, people have to actually shoot their guns. The only people crying about this are the people who use abilities to hide their lack of skill
the only changes in the twab i'm iffy about are the insta kill sticky nades, but they might not be bad depending on tracking and how they won't bounce off of things to stick to people, and that hhsn if it doesn't push them far enough is just a straight up nerf but i have to wait and see if it can at least be useful in pushing an r1 spamming super away from you

I’m pretty sure they removed the tracking but gave it slight AA for controller players. But its on a massively long cooldown so I don’t it will be too oppressive
