Never posted before so forgive me....
I'm a Fifty Five old day 1 Destiny player. I love this game and I'm a Navy veteran.
I support the causes you guys get behind. However, when I saw the negative response to the request for a Veterans Day Emblem I was appalled. International Veterans are the reason we are able to celebrate these causes. The people who have given their lives for their countries around the world, are currently serving or are retired need to be celebrated as the ultimate Guardians. They are the reason why you can put forth these causes and celebrate our differences and sameness. These people gave away part of their life and in some cases parts of their bodies to allow the rest of us to play a game for fun. Why can't we have an Emblem to celebrate their sacrifices.
I'm on xbox, if you see me say Hi.

There is a reason we have left those threads open. Lets focus the discussion there. We would greatly appreciate it.

15 通の返信Negative response? I can understand not liking the response. To call it negative though? I'm kinda curious as to what made it so negative.

Real talk? I'm not against, ooh, say... a Poppy Emblem? Y'know, for Remembrance Day. That would be nice. However I've been on these boards for quite some time now and when I first arrived, it was abundantly clear that some really nasty views had taken root and almost become normalised. Racism, you-name-the-phobia, -blam!- denial, white supremacy (no really) it was all here. And the Ninjas, bless em, have had their work cut out uprooting that bullshit and showing it the door. Unfortunately, not everyones expressed concern for Veterans is honest. You ask me? Thats the real disgrace in all this. Think on it, decide what you will. Either way, respect for serving. 👍
