When are you all going to learn bungie doesn’t care?
They don’t care about your feedback.
They don’t care about your gameplay experience.
They don’t care about sandbox balance.
They don’t care about your loot.
They don’t care about matchmaking.
And they most certainly don’t care about affordability.
They care about that $100 you will all fork over before February hits, and nothing else…except that new IP, money grab 2 electric boogaloo.

Don't buy Silver Don't engage with the Game in any way whatsoever. Just don't do anything. Some would say The few times in the past Bungie actually "listened" was when the population was at the lowest it has ever been, say like it was in D2 Year 1 and we got multiple Twabs and Dev comments asking what we'd like to see, what their goal was, how they failed to do that and that it was unacceptable and they'd so better going forward. We even got public apologies from Luke Smith and the PvP leads at the time. Do that again and we'll get some progress.

It’s sad when generalize and treat “Bungie” as if they are a single person. I’m sure there are folks are Bungie who are behind the gameplay, story, missions, art, music care very much about all the things above; not only because it’s careers but for many it’s an art and a passion. All of your problems mentioned are issues pertaining to the higher ups who manages the marketing or how content is distributed. Bungie is a large team of people. Point is, posts like this is is unfair to the folks at Bungie who actually care about the work they do.

7 通の返信First and foremost, I think you need to understand that there are hundreds of employees at Bungie that are just trying to earn a paycheck. They are under the same restraints and conditions we're all in our working environments. I don't believe that they don't care, I believe they're limited to what they can actually do. That being said, the direction LEADERSHIP wants this game to go, and the glaring problems with the game as a whole has dissuaded me from purchasing Witch Queen. The game will never get dedicated servers, matchmaking will never be sorted out, and as a PvP focused player this IP just isn't for me anymore. The gunplay (when working as intended) is in a league all its own and it's hard to get that experience in other titles. However, their are other titles releasing that will hold my interest . I'll still jump into QP to have "fun" with my friends, but, the days of buying every DLC are over.

2 通の返信I've thought about making my own thread about this, but have always feared/figured it'd be shut down instantly, so, I'll post what I've always wanted to say here. I want some transparency, Bungie. Ever since the NetEase "investment", Bungie has felt like a different company, and I know, no kidding, they're not a part of Acti anymore, but I don't mean that. Destiny, Bungie's baby, feels like second fiddle to whatever game is currently being made for NetEase. I don't know how many people in the past worked on Destiny, but it honestly feels like it's only a third of that now, sometimes even less. The constant bugs, glitches, crashes, balancing issues, and even launch Stasis would have never been allowed in days of old, and I believe this new game is a result of that. Effectively, I feel like Destiny is being worked on by the "B Team", while it's all hands on deck for the NetEase game. I've talked with others who also feel this way, and we've all agreed that Bungie seems to be milking Destiny and its fanbase for all their worth to try to pay back that investment. Let me be clear, this isn't directed to anyone not in management. I know you're trying, Destiny dev team. I know you are. Maybe not your best, or how others think you should be, but you're trying none the least. I just want to know why I feel like one of my favorite games feels like it's been forgotten by the people who loved it most...

At risk of getting banned, I will say this: Bungie is a company, and it, like all companies, exists to make money. Sure, they’ll respond to feedback, but such is ultimately to keep the playerbase active (and therefore more willing to spend money). Sure, individual artists, developers, and other employees at Bungie care about the game’s quality, but that does not appear to drive the decisions of the company as a whole. I’m not saying they’re completely devoid of passion, if that were the case, this game would’ve died years ago. I’m just saying that, between improving the game and increasing profit, Bungie will almost always choose the latter.

[/b][/i] -Luke Skywalker You are absolutely allowed to have you own opinion, and post about it in Bungie's community forum (that's why it's here!), but in my opinion you are totally off. They ask for feedback all the time. They collect anecdotal feedback here, on reddit, on twitter, and also look at numbers and data and statistics. They get back to us each week in the TWAB and talk about how that feedback is informing changes. They are constantly making changes to the gameplay experience to refine it (I know it's not fast enough for some people). I was fortunate and had a chance to visit Bungie studios just before a major expansion release and was blown away by the experience. They absolutely convinced me they care, they really REALLY care. They play the game, they want it to succeed, they want players to enjoy the experience, they want to create a product that is engaging, put it in your hands, listen to your feedback and tune the experience to make it better. In one of the hallways there are two huge monitors that display active player counts on each platform for the most recent 3 hours. At a glance they know exactly how many players are in the world of Destiny at any given time, and there's other monitors with one or two twitch streams on all the time. They're always watching us. I'm sure there may other developers or studios that do it differently/better/faster, but you will never convince me "Bungie doesn't care". The people and players I met there impressed me with their investment and drive and desire to create this amazing world I look forward to spending time in. I'm not trying to argue you out of your opinion, just offering other readers a counterpoint. I'm sure you have your reasons for feeling the way you do, and it's a bummer that you are in a place where you are mad at the game or don't seem to like Destiny very much. I hope it's temporary.

Not to defend bungie. But just because people don’t get their way doesn’t mean they don’t care. People have this thought process that because they see something talked about on forums or Reddit it’s what the majority of the playerbase wants. But most the playerbase don’t post on those forums. There’s no solution to anything that’s universally loved.

I really wish bungie had more of a presence on this forum. It's been a shame watching the conspiracy/q-anon esque crazies take root and see this forum snowball into a hatefest. I've seen people unironically, blame people of a certain country as the reason for why this game isn't in an optimal state. It's sad to see superstition and conspiracy take hold over giving things actual thought. Though I guess it's to be expected when bungie doesn't fill in those gaps with information

Destiny is probably one one of the most played games by me in life, maybe only behind guitar hero and halo. Its quite amazing that bingie inabillity to keep a descent game good made everyone good from the community left so we only have fanboys now downvoting feedback trying to make the game good again. "PlaY THe waY it IS Now OR LeaVe" What's even the point of a forum for this kind of people? a funny place to spread memes? The actually best thing to do is quit the game. We have better and more competent teams in other games, and its quite weird playing other games where feedback exist. Hate all you want, but fortnite, halo(343 servers now), splitgate and even smaller indie games have better player feedback than destiny. God, get the most extremist of the cases, genshin impact. The biggest revenue in game industry of all time in its first year peaked at 1star review on playstore for being bad and they "did something" in question of days. Did it fix? NO, but they actually tried patching the mess. ANd here we are, asking for more vault space after 7 years of game, and what we get? overpriced gear and paywalled content.

I can’t wait to see how much drip feeding they do with Witch Queen. Remember Beyond Light? 2 days into Beyond Light I was out of content. The aspects, fragments, empire hunts, exo challenges, wrathborn hunts, and even part of the Europa map were all dripfed. It was horrible. It released and 2 days into it, it felt like there was nothing to do. A giant expansion released and you were just back to the same old same old, grinding old activities waiting until Tuesday to get a new aspect quest that you could finish in 15 minutes. Witch Queen will be the same. They’ll dripfeed everything in it just like Beyond Light. 2 days into WQ and you’ll be out of content, back in the old playlists, waiting until reset to get a tiny bit more.
