Now I know everyone doesn't weapon test and actually try out builds for themselves and just collects maybe one roll of the weaponsor armor they want but this game is for collectors too and it is stressful always being at 490/500 and eventually having to delete weapons that are so unique just to free up space. I think that weapons and armor should have separate vault limits maybe 500 a piece? For the foreseeable future this would feel like more than enough for alot of us.
I feel like bungie is trying to mitigate this issue by implementing ways to force you to get rid of weapons that have no use anymore so they can resell them to you. ( artifact priority weapons and sunsetting.)
Each season we are forced to use weapons that match our artifact to get through content effectively and if you don't abide by those rules you usually wind up with bad damage output for raids or grandmasters. But give controls what you run each season for optimal damage output so why keep weapons that don't adhere to that rule?
Sunsetting itself caused alot of us to purge weapons we loved because we could only really use them in patrols or regular crucible and we eventually had to delete them to make space in our vaults these were truly dark times for collectors everywhere.
So here me out I think it's a much needed change to add more vault space or revamp how it all works altogether. this is a game for hard-core fans and collectors are definitely part of that category, we buy from your eververse stores and get all the triumphs and achievements and titles but as a tinkerer of weapon rolls and armor, I find it very difficult to enjoy that aspect of the game without feeling restricted all the time by the space i have in my vault.

To help diagnose hoarding disorder, a mental health professional performs a psychological evaluation. In addition to questions about emotional well-being, you may be asked about a habit of acquiring and saving items, leading to a discussion of hoarding. TREATMENT Treatment of hoarding disorder can be challenging because many people don't recognize the negative impact of hoarding on their lives or don't believe they need treatment. This is especially true if the possessions or animals offer comfort. If these possessions or animals are taken away, people will often react with frustration and anger and quickly collect more to help fulfill emotional needs. The main treatment for hoarding disorder is cognitive behavioral therapy. Medications may be added, particularly if you also have anxiety or depression.
To seek professional help for your hoarding problem, please click here.

1 返信Yup, we do need more vault space. Since 2019 in fact. The fact that they still can't / aren't willing to provide us such is proof of the pure ignorance, incompetence and the fact that this game has a horrible code. And no, i completely disagree with the "split armor and weapons" into 2x 500 vaults. People like me do not care about armor rolls in the slightest. I have my vault sitting at 499/500 since 2019 without ANY armor piece in my vault. Not one. Players are different, some care about armor, some about unique weapons and unique weapon rolls. We need a combined 1k space TO START OFF. There needs to even be more space purchasable in the store after that bump. A loot based game with this insane amount of said loot can not have this limited vault space. It is unaccaptable. Their stupid crafting system is another point of proof that basically screams "we can not solve the vault space iussue, here's another desperate try to avoid that issue after trying it with sunsetting". Your poor server cost to store more data is just the only reason you are stingy, let's face it. Give us something back for our money.

31 通の返信There are some really goofy comments on this post 😂🤦♂️ Personally, what others do with their vault is their business. No one on this forum or in this entire world for that matter gets to tell anyone what to do. Never understood the players that think they run this forum, it's mindboggling, to say the least. So it's stupid when I see the kids posting "stop hoarding". It's a loot game you bunch of "Brainiacs" and when a company stresses it's a "collectors game" well duh, players are going to collect items. It's just this compnay doesn't use their head when creating things like the wonderful "collections" that is so useful and they don't even know how to set up a vault properly. Never mind they have only worked on 2 games since 2007 if not earlier.

5 通の返信I just gotta say that I love the fact that the title says we need more vault space, Period. And then you make a tldr post. Anybody else feel like hoarders need to stop hoarding.

1 返信We don't. Period. I have 3 characters and no less than 4 active builds on each one, not counting speculative ones that are in the works. Or those dozens of random Exotics I have from GMS. Still have 50 slots. You gotta delete some stuff, bro.

23 通の返信Most of the people here that are saying “stop hoarding” or “no we don’t need more vault space”, are sub 1200 power level with 1 actively played character. They must not realize we can see their profile 🤦 If you haven’t or are not capable of farming endgame content, please stfu. Those people don’t need vault space because they haven’t even reached a point where they can target farm adept/time lost weapons or anything probably. GMs alone drop multiple exotics more often than not for me, on top of multiple adept weapons. Doing multiple GMs or masters nets a ton of loot to go through.

Demon_XXVIIにより編集済み: 11/6/2021 6:15:54 PMWe need less shyt Why on earth Bungie don’t utilise the collections (and the D1 node system for those weapons) is crazy Find the weapon, unlock & activate ALL (every perk available as seen in D2 Gunsmith/DIM etc) the perks on that gun Work through, store the gun in the collection Complete all weapons as an on going Armourer seal And complete sections (say Auto Rifles) and earn Gunsmith 1/2/3 rankings Banshee bounties should boost progress on completing nodes If you love the weapon, you keep using it & masterwork it If you find yourself not using it, leave it & pick it up from collections if the meta/artefact changes Let’s see what the weapon crafting brings in WQ

4 通の返信No we don’t, thats why weapon crafting is coming to the game. Its basically like going into collections and making the roll that you personally want using materials. At least thats how bungie made it sound. That means we really don’t need slots anymore, Unless of course it doesn’t work that way.

6 通の返信In a game with hundreds of weapons with thousands of perk combinations 500 space isn’t enough. I didn’t even mention hundreds of armor with millions of potential stat rolls. Also 9 slots for each piece of gear is OK but 10 or 11 would drastically reduce the amount of times I need to open up my phone to swap out weapons because I don’t have the room in my kinetic slot.

2 通の返信What are you people doing with so many guns? I just dont understand. Even if Bungie increases Vault space you'll continue hoarding and the cycle repeats.
-
2 通の返信What they need to do is get rid of that “Can not reacquire randomized gear” in Collections. We should be able to reclaim any item we want. The way it would work is like this. If you dismantle an item you can go back to collections and get it for free or for a certain amount of materials depending on if you are starting at master work 1 or 10 and the stats will be the same as before. For example, if I dismantle a weapon or piece of armor I can go back and reclaim it for free if I start at master work 1 or I can reclaim it at the master work it was at when I dismantled it for the cost it took to reach that master work level. Any additional items will cost glimmer, shards and gunsmith materials.

11 通の返信I love how the people that are disagreeing are also casuals who can’t even imagine the issue.

People who can confidently call themselves a build crafter will always have an issue with vault space, we like to experiment with different stuff I personally have 14 masterworked sets of armor just on my warlock alone and that’s not counting all the armor I’m currently tinkering with lol and on the weapon aspect if bungie didn’t force people to have to keep 2 of every weapon one for pve and one for pvp it wouldn’t be so bad
