Run lake of shadows at 1100 not in strike playlist. It’s starts at 140 vanguard points and maxes out at 270 vanguard points and as long as you don’t play anything else it saves it at 270 even if you turn off your game. I’ve been doing this all day. I tried many different ways and this is the only tolerable way.

That’s more efficient, but if you’re looking for a relaxed experience, it’s much less fun since it’s the same strike every time. This is why regular strikes should give more reputation than low difficulty nightfalls.
