3 通の返信The game was meant to only be played as the hunter class. It’s the easy mode. The challenge tiers are warlock (normal) and Titan (expert demon souls super hard difficulty)

As a hunter main, hunter is the most unbalanced class purely because each subclass is situational. Is hunter good? Yes, but it's always a trade off. Top tree nightstalker it's a good class with both solo and teamplay integrated and is great a PvE class, but its viability drops in PvP. The the super is either a team wipe or a suicide action due to time to cast and time to arm while the rest of the kit is middling. With the reworks coming to the light SC's I'm not calling to have bungie change anything (although reworking shatterdive or glacier nade to be more of an utility would be nice). The preview of the void rework looks like a good indicator of the lights shifting the viability of certain class roles. Support tank titan looks especially juicy to me. I know it's a few months until wq and void 3.0 but let's just take are time and remember [quote]telesto will still break the game[/quote].

Maybe a "Hunters Call" class ability that reloads you and your allies weapons upon activation and heals all nearby allies continuously as you damage enemies for 10 seconds. Bungie can add Exotics to do things like "Kills while Hunters Call is active grant you class ability energy." This may be a terrible idea but we gotta start somewhere 🤷♂️

11 通の返信70% of d2 players are hunters, or have a hunter. I do, and I use him as much as I use my other classes. But I do not take him for GMs - too weak, not enough survivability. While I'm sure the youtube streamers can sell you on anything, reality exists, and it disagrees with you.

38 通の返信Everything hunters ever had going for them in pve has been nerfed shards of galinor - nerfed orpheus rigs - nerfed star eater scales - nerfed nighthawk - nerfed via cuirass dance machines - nerfed arcstrider was even meta at one point but guess what, nerfed it's really not fun playing pve content as a hunter anymore

People complain about everything Hunters have because of PvP. Meantime Titans and Warlocks have the best grenades and abilities in PvP and PVE. Everyone says hunter movement is OP, but it’s all they have! They can’t even move across a map as fast as Warlocks and Titans. It’s just agility I guess? Wells are busted, stormcaller is busted, hammers are annoying as -blam!-, pretty much all Titan arc is OP and hunter grenades and melees are a joke compared to the other two classes. But everyone wants to nerf shatterdive and give hunters one less thing. I played Titan during arrivals because Titan stasis slide was fun and playing Titan is the easiest way to pad stats in PvP. I guess this is my opinion, but in the hours I have played, this is what I have seen/observed. I love playing as a hunter because of the jumping, but they are the weakest class for sure when it comes to abilities.

1 返信Hunters are not useless in endgame content by any means, but warlocks and titans are pretty much essential. Not only is well good but shadebinder is one of the best add clear subclasses, and titans have both bubble and falling star thundercrash (better than nighthawk)

Gotta stand on plates to let people out before DPS. Hunters that stand still die. Titans have barricade. Warlocks have rifts. Hunters have invis, for 7 seconds max. Not enough time. That's why. But hey, when I see all those LFG posts for shatterdive hunters for trials, I don't feel bad for hunters in PvE. Everyone has their place. Next time we go, we're taking the same group, but only one hunter this time. Fatebreaker here I come.

2 通の返信BlizzardTrail You make some valid points and I agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Two hunters got me thru the 1st GM this season. I was trying all week, couldn't get it done. Last night before reset, I gave it one more try. They kept extending the NF by going invisible and we got it done. I don't like playing as a hunter, I main Warlock, but they are useful in many situations. I run Celestial for Atheon, tether is always helpful, invisible hunters are great. Revenant can be useful also. Those players that only want the recommended setup probably just go off with what they are told is best. If you want to run something specific, just make your own team.

10 通の返信Well, I'm not surprised. Invis Hunters aren't really needed unless you're skipping or dying a lot. Missile is better than Nighthawk. Revanent can't do anything Shadebinder can't do better. Arc staff also can't do anything Shadebinder can't do better, unless you're taking totally damage output, then you have Missile. Rifts and Barricades are infinitely more valuable in a GM than a dodge. Tether isn't bad. But a couple ice turrets with those freeze seekers pretty much accomplishes the same thing, and they're on a grenade cooldown instead of a super. The list goes on.

3 通の返信because they dont offer anything to the team that other classes/ mods cant do debuffs ? seasonal artifacts or divinity etc.. pure damage ? thundercrash deals more damage invis ? why besides a rez from time to time that you could achieve anyways killing adds ? both classes does it better/ as a good maybe controlling adds, but its not an issue in master vog, they get farmed, all you need is resistance, healing and damage overall one thing i agree tough, is that a hunter is not necessary, but isnt a handicap either as long as you have already a few titans and warlocks. but teams that mainly have hunters are often struggling in master vog

The only people -blam!- Hunters from endgame content are people who are conceited by silly meta archetypes or who are insecure in their own ability to succeed. I completed dozens of hard raids in D1 and I judge players on how well they shoot and complete objectives...and how cool and flexible they are. If people were smart, they'd have a Hunter go into the portals before Atheon. In and out.
