I decided several weeks ago that the gambit and strikes ascendancy ornaments would be the 2 challenges I skip this season. Once I found out that you basically have to reset twice to get all the ornaments, I called it. Way too much of a time sink.
Bungie: "we are removing the seasonal challenge that requires you to reset your rank"
Also bungie: "we are adding a challenge that requires you to reset twice........each"

It’s such a pain, but I’d give it a go in the gambit one next time it’s double Rep gains. Get an LFG team for it too if you want. It goes by surprisingly fast and gambits actually pretty fun right now. The strikes one is a long season with a bug content gap next month, so I’d maybe consider it.

Yeah, it's one of those things you just gotta sit down and get done. I'm just already kinda burnt out for this season until December. I pretty much only get on at reset every week just to see what's going on and I'll hop on if I have friends playing. One of those things where I want to play the game, but I'm tired of playing the same strikes and gambit playlist that I've been playing for 3 years now so I don't. Maybe I'll convince myself to do it later. Gotta be sometime within the next month though cause halo infinite is for certain gonna keep me busy until witch queen.

I myself have been playing through monster Hunter world for the past few weeks. I’m doing the same thing: logging in at reset to see what’s happening. I noticed the weekly challenge and that’s why I’m here. Tried my hand at it and noticed how bad the system is right now.
