🤔 What do you all think? Can Crucible be saved or is it Dying, because of cheaters and Super Sweats killing it? How can it be fixed? Should weapons be more balanced and get rid of Mata? Should any weapon of choice have the ability to compete against another? Seeing to much lag skipping and magical BS that you know is not possible is going on. Needs to be addressed fast.
📣 Please no nasty or hateful comments. Maybe if we come up with good honest feedback and ideas 💡 bungie might do something for the benefit of all.

23 通の返信I have spent almost 7 years with destiny and I am approaching 300,000 pvp kills in destiny 2. I am sorry for the tone of this feedback piece but it has to be said. I have played more crucible than most folk and I am by no means the best player but I'm seasoned. I have a LOT of friends who are my skill or better with as much experience as me and time invested into the game as a whole but especially pvp. In its current state the crucible is the worst it has ever been. The matchmaking, frankly leaves me speechless. How anybody let this pass is beyond me. I am being forced to sweat every single game and carry brand new players, an obvious change has occurred to matchmaking despite the community manager saying nothing has changed. The lobby balancing in play expects 1 single person to carry 5 brand new players against an entire team of average players. The queue times for quickplay take upwards of 5-7 minutes at peak times. it doesnt work The connections are the worst they have ever been. What is the point in the report - connection- severe if these people continue to play? Why isnt there a system that removes these players automatically? People literally rubberband around the map on wi fi connections and bungie does nothing. This is 2021. Last night in quickplay I met a titan on midtown. He has 20 games played. Brand new account. His stats: 100% sniper rifle accuracy. 100% hand cannon accuracy. Why does battle eye not detect this. Cheaters are back already. Why isnt he ejected from my lobby? I paid $200 for beyond light. I paid $200+ for witchqueen. Literally check my account now and see ive spent 1000$+ in eververse. You remove 12 maps from the crucible. Force me to carry games in quickplay. Its like, is the game competitive? If you want to balance the lobbies (poorly might I add, because 1 person does not = 6) then you have to have dedicated severs. If its not competitive then why have you forced lobby balancing and in doing so, created the worst, lag fest i have ever witnessed. I used to be a bad player. I improved and now, because I am above average, when I turn on the game to chill and use some meme load outs I am forced to carry 3 brand new players against people from asia, Australia, usa, europe all while theyre at 300+ ping? This is not burn out. I still play the game. My clan is here and the gunplay is good. But the current state will see it losing crucible players fast. We are down 12 maps. You literally removed 12 maps and made 1 in around 3 years. They havent been replaced. Next year this time we will still be down 8 maps. Players are teleporting every game from the other side of the globe, unpunished. Cheaters are 100% back, yes I reported him. Good players are now being forced to sweat every single quickplay game via contrived methods of MM that determines the outcome before the game starts. It is utterly hideous at this point and there is 0 excuse for not having pure CBMM lobbies if we are playing on a hybrid p2p set up in 2021. Please communicate more. Myself, my clan and my other friends on the game all share the same view and we are huge players (time wise) and big spenders in your game. This is the feedback section, that is my feedback. My friends are leaving this game for apex and halo by the day. I just want to play d2 but how a game this old regresses in pvp is beyond me. If you want to balance lobbies then have real dedicated servers like other pvp games. If you want it to be a party shooter to have fun then make it CBMM. This doesnt help anybody, good or bad. It just punishes good players. Tldr: The game is putting the top 1% with the bottom 5% every game. They are then forced to fight average- above average players. It doesnt work. It creates long queue times and lag.

1 返信Cronus on console has changed the nature of QP, altogether. Nobody ever mentions that sweats also use Cronus. It’s been out so long and commonplace, it’s prob how many became sweats. Lol

23 通の返信PlayStation players using m&k and having insane movement speed with aim assist headshots. I wish I could block every single PlayStation player as all they use is ace and shotguns. Slide, shotgun or jump and shotgun is all they do every single game.

3 通の返信Just an opinion caveat as I've been reading all the replies. My lag and connection in lobbies has suffered tremendously lately. And the day it all started was when cross play started. I'm on a series x and every time there is a PS player in my lobby it's bad. I'm not sure if this holds merit but anecdotally there's that.

2 通の返信Should've made an "all of the above" option and I bet that would've been the majority vote. It's all bad. Nothing feels balanced, be it weapons, subclasses, character classes, matchmaking. It's all out of wack

6 通の返信Matching making we have is to protect North American streamers. Why else doesn’t the flawless pool go into effect until Sunday night?

7 通の返信The current state of Crucible is horrifically awful. Broken and unbalanced crap show!

2 通の返信This happens EVERY single time matchmaking is set to CBMM, eventually. Some players that favor CBMM, usually the top players and the good players, enjoy simple games for awhile. They face lower level players regularly, mid-level players regularly, and the good and themselves not so often. Over time the players getting stomped, either end up just going in for the pinnacle and then leave, or people quit altogether. What ends up happening is the good and top players then face each other again, because that is who is mostly left playing. I call it Self Imposed SBMM. As far as having to carry mostly low level players through while the other team has an ok mix of players, this was Bungies attempt at trying to balance things so those getting stomped had a chance at a win. The problem with this is that those stomped are not just interested in a win. They want to be able to contribute to their team, not just to the other teams kill count. They are not asking to win every game, they are asking to be able to compete. Lots of people just don't understand that.

1 返信The matchmaking is garbage. Last night in Trials the enemy team was carried by a guy with a 14.0 and almost 2 million Crucible Kills. Why should I face this?

1 返信I'd say there isn't enough inbetween playing the game, its scared away the casual portion playing the game with the matchmaking changes. It's not as quick to find control matches and more than often when you find them they're super sweaty. I think the CBMM has forced people to play in a very negative safe playstyle. I get it, you play the way you want but games before CBMM implementation were a mix of sweat and casual games. Even when I see stomps it doesn't separate the player pool lol, this is for PC btw so I get it console is doing good but PC is struggling.

1 返信I just started playing again. I’m usually on the team getting slaughtered, but once in a while I’m on the team doing the slaughtering. Matchmaking is horrible.
