To start things off Im a Titan main but please don’t discount what I have to say. Titian’s feel really bad in the current sandbox due to their lack of neutral game. I’ve thrived as a Titan for a long time but in the current sandbox I have a hard time competing. I’ve found that the only play style offered to me is either really aggressive or really passive which isn’t working with Titans right now. Almost all of its neutral game comes in the form of melees which makes it hard to use in any competitive mode against competent players. Warlocks and hunters just have a much better tool kit. Don’t get me wrong every class has had its ups and downs throughout the years and that’s fine that’s what a meta is. However, it would be nice if Titans maybe had some better qualities built into their subclasses other than relying on their melee exotics like dune marchers(which are broken). I think broken Titan exotics is just bungie way of combatting underperforming Titan subclasses. I don’t think any classes should be nerfed really because it’s nice to see other classes shine but it leaves me feeling left out in the fun. I’m just hoping the light subclass rework gives Titans some more options going forward. Titans aren’t bad if you use it’s strengths but I feel that the glass ceiling for Titans right now is much lower than those of other classes. Let me know what you think.

Titans are, by their very nature, tanky. They don't need fancy knives, or ranged attacks because they're there to bull doze you, shoulder charge, and layeth the smacketh down. I am not a Titan main, but I actually tend to have better stats when running with them. Don't know why, can't explain it, just happens.

1 返信Infamous067により編集済み: 10/24/2021 7:18:02 PMI think titans perfectly fill their role, they have a ton of exotics that grant armor on either melee kill or shotgun kills. Warlocks all need some form of ranged melee to fill that mage role but we are slowly getting there with the new void 3.0 coming soon and Hunters definitely fill in the assassin role in their current state. Titans recently got a barrier buff where you take reduce damage behind a shield and titans have enough exotics to make themselves a literal tank. I don’t think titans are bad, I feel bungie has hard coded their play style to be actual tanks. If thats not your play style then consider playing other classes, thats the whole reason why classes exist in the first place! It would be silly if all classes played exactly the same and filled their own play style without the need of other classes.

13 通の返信As a hunter main for an inhuman amount of hours. When I play titan I legit play better apparently. Titans have some amazing stuff that can win games with little to no effort. The nades are strong can either blind or surpress an enemy can keep them trapped. They have barricades which can bait glacial nades. And do a lot of other stuff. You can also shoot through them (without citans). The corners of the barricades where you see the white outline you can shoot through that part of the barricade. The perks you can proc from getting enemy players one shot is insane. With stasis you can become and indestructible tank with the right build/exotic.

1 返信I don’t even play for resilience, I focus on Intellect and Recov and I have not had any issues in my titan

3 通の返信Titan. If you do boot have at least 9 resilience… I get this post. If you do, then your build vs your play style is not cohesive. (Not in a rude way) That, at least, 9 resilience is paramount. As far as builds, Titans are the most versatile with reward while playing. Hunters, easy mode of you uses easier mode Ie stasis. Warlocks, high iq.. really good builds.. but it takes a lot as a player to succeed. Titans.. pick your poison and commit your build for many scenarios… but if you do not hit that high resilience.. you are looking through a very small window.

1 返信I feel pretty strong. I also main Cerberus and Flaming Maul so I’m not entirely sure how much credibility I have in these situations.

1 返信“Lack of a neutral game”,.... that class has BROKEN neutral game! Striker titan, defender suppressors and over shields, are you insane?

1 返信I disagree. Certainly in pvp, they seem pretty strong. I've been 1 hit meleed by them from what seems like a standing start more times than I care to say, their barricades can be completely clutch in trials when reviving and grabbing heavy and thier supers are also very strong. Add in the ability to bubble on an objective and pretty much guarantee a win. They also have some great exotics (I know dunmarchers are broken, I got hit by lightening from my teamate getting hit when I was so far away it wasn't even funny) as well. Could they have improvements? Sure, but every class can say that. I certainly don't feel disadvanted any when I play my titan. If you feel otherwise try a different class.

DuBChiri2により編集済み: 10/23/2021 10:35:12 PMI dont necessarily disagree with your statement. Pretty much everything they have thrives off of ability kills, which aren't always the easiest to secure. Behemoth was our neutral game class they put into the ground further than the roots of a great oak. I'm exaggerating here, but it's seriously fallen off. It just doesn't offer anything middle tree striker cant cover.
