1k- 61 keys (over 30 clears because I'd hoard keys between doing queenswalk)
Anarchy- 19 clears
Tarrabah- 10 clears (nice)
Divinity- 2nd clear
EOT- 31 clears
Vex- 36 and counting, no drop yet.
Total of 150+ raids just for my first drop of each exotic.
Obviously not everyone is going to have such bad luck with raid exotics, but anyone could have bad luck with one which hurts their experience with the game overall. This current system transforms raiding from a joy to a chore; I love raiding but when RNG can screw me over so much it makes me not want to do the raid for months after I finally get the exotic and title.
I get the idea of rare drop gear incentivizing playing the content more; however, I still run raids that I don't need the exotic from anymore with 23 clears in Garden even though I got it through the quest easily. If raid exotics must stay obscenely low rate random drops, can we at least get some guaranteed pathways such as a flawless raid completion guaranteeing the drop?

You know I think I figured it out. Hardcore gamers won’t get vex right away, because they will play many times to get what they want, leisure gamers get it sooner because if they don’t they might just switch to another game. New players get it even sooner because it will entice them to play more with their new gun.

Ogma: Destroyer of Worldsにより編集済み: 10/22/2021 1:40:45 PM1K - 5(got it on my birthday) Anarchy - 1 EoT - 30 Vex - 42 I didn’t have anyone to raid with until season of Arrivals. Didn’t start doing raids more than once until then when I got some people back into the game. Usually just did a single Sherpa run of raids just to do it once because I really don’t like a full LFG team. Takes too long, people are unreliable, incompetent, etc. Only did Crown once and Tarrabah never dropped. My first GoS was a Div run. It’s like once I started actually raiding regularly, they took forever to drop. Either way, I’d take a quest for raid exotics even if it’s an underwhelming quest. Every. Single. Time. REALLY hope the WQ raid exotic is a quest. RNG raid exotics take so long it trivializes the raid and it no longer feels like an accomplishment. It has absolutely nothing to do with ability or experience and it does not respect time investment of the player. The player has zero control over the situation. It’s like playing a lottery where there’s an arbitrary 3 ticket a week limit. It feels like work. That’s not fun. I play games to escape that.

I’m currently at 150 runs for 2 raid exotics. It took 101 DSC runs to get the Eyes to drop, and I’m currently at 50 VoG runs and still no Vex. I lose all happiness when this happens and no longer care for the drop.

Klaus_Reaper (Adept)により編集済み: 10/21/2021 11:20:14 AMI'm sure people must be real pissed for paying a game and to this day can't enjoy these raid exotics, Vex,1k, EoT, tarrabah etc...such a bullsh!t practice, after season 15 I'm out, it's just this game that screw his players like that.

Tigerpawsにより編集済み: 10/21/2021 7:59:37 PMVex yr 1 - first clear Krux y1 - never dropped Vex yr2 - 7th or 8th clear Terribah - had to buy from kiosk EoT - 30th clear 1k - 1st clear Anarcy - 2nd clear Original fate bringer- 45 templar kills to get that. Its just random my man. I'm torn between getting the drop (and punching the air) or some quest thing. Divinity was a pain in the -blam!-

1 返信Vex is about to receive a nerf sadly m...Its reliving its D1 history all over again...I think Bungie is making these decisions based on how weapons perform WITH a powerful seasonal mod. The Vex is perfect in all categories as a raid acquired exotic weapon... What's the nerf gonna be? Due to particle deconstruction, we're nerfing the base damage of the Vex by 40% to bring it in line with weak @zz pea shooters. Seriously? Who passed this decision!? Especially after so many people are upset about not getting it after dozens and dozens of raids. I have it, and so after 53 runs, I'm admittedly a lil po'ed. What good will it be post nerf? Lol

your avg for the four is 15.5 clears, that's pretty good! HA! I thought when the old raids were leaving us and they put a cap of 20 clears to get the exotics would translate to the now raids. I think 25 clears should be the mark, that if you havent got by then it's guaranteed. for DSC I have one friend that has over 100 clears and no EoT (gave up will not run it again), another took him till the 80's to get, that's a bit ridiculous.

4 通の返信I don’t get why at the end of the raid the little vendor thing doesn’t have an option to buy it for a cipher and 200+ spoils. Seems like the easiest and most obvious solutions. Heck they could even lock that option out until someone has done like five or ten clears.
-
7 通の返信The chance increase just needs to actually work. 5% (first clear) - 100% (50th clear) - Have the rate increase linearly (~1.9% increase every clear looted without it dropping.) I usually have pretty good luck - 1K - 6th try - Eyes - 5th try - Vex - 16th try But I was never able to get either anarchy and Tarrabah to drop in game. The system just needs to work right and be out in the open.

4 通の返信I got the Crux of Crota on one of my first runs, but as crazy as it sounds. Took months to get Black Hammer and only got Swordbreaker when D1 was pretty much at its end.

I feel making it a quest similar to touch of malice would’ve been cool. Yeah I know making a quest everyone can get devalues the gun, but exotics have been devalued since rise of iron. They’re no longer hard to get, everyone can see the new ones in collections and from data mining. I miss the days where you saw vex on someone’s back and had zero clue where it came from and only heard from people rumors of where it dropped in the raid. Those were the good ol days. Getting my first exotic in destiny from a legendary engram back when those dropped blues felt amazing especially since no one knew what exotics really were

The drop rates are fine. RNG is all about luck. Besides, be lucky that its not like other MMO games because oh boy you would be uninstalling those games hella quick over some items. One example is in Final Fantast 12. There a special crossbow in the game called the Saitengrate. Its on an airship, sounds easy right? The catch is it spawns on an outer deck, a place you could honeslty care less to go because you have more important matters to deal with, on top of that... It spawms in an invisible chest that has a 1% chance to spawn. Now lets say you get the chest to spawn.. "Do i get the crossbow?" You might.... The crossbow has a 1% chance to be in the chest. You're rolling for a 1 in 100,000 chance of getting the chest to spawn in AND have the crossbow in it. And thats with an item equipped to increase your luck. Without said item its a 1 in 300,000. Without RNG manipulation youre gonna be there for a long.... Long time. If anything I eould be thankful the Bungie is generous enough to not put us through THAT amount of BS.

3 通の返信waaaaaaaaaahhhh give me all the stuff so i have no reason to play then -blam!- everything is to easy to get plus i have no idea how rng works waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh

7 通の返信I completely agree the rng isn’t perfect but man it’s a hell of a lot more fun than some of the quests we’ve gotten for raid exotics like acrius or div like they couldn’t be a more boring quest. I wish all raid exotics were tied to an outbreak level quest or a flawless raid completion
