As we've seen from the posts here and on Reddit/Twitter, Destiny 2 players in Australia (including myself) are experiencing frequent disconnections from activities, with error codes including CURRANT, CABBAGE and RABBIT.
This issue seems to be limited to players with a TPG-owned internet service provider, including Internode, iiNet and TPG themselves. Players reported this starting from the evening of Thursday 14 October 2021.
Players are kicked to orbit from nearly all activities and destinations, including Strikes/Nightfall , Raids, destinations (including Tower), Festival of the Lost activities , Crucible and Gambit. The last two are also incurring player penalties including bans for "leaving the activity", through no fault of the player.

Troubleshooting following the help articles doesn't appear to fix the issue, and the internet connection isn't affected in any other way or any other game/MMO.
Users have reported that a VPN to anywhere outside Australia works in many cases, but this isn't a permanent solution.
Contact with ISPs by many users has resulted in responses to the effect of 'there is nothing wrong with your connection on your end or our end, please contact Bungie for assistance.'
Please comment here if you are also experiencing these same issues.
Bungie, can we please get some help or comment on this issue?

7 通の返信Hello. Thanks for contacting us. It appears that several internet service providers in Australia are having issues. Unfortunately, we aren't like other games and require a constant stable connection, so if an ISP is having issues, it won't be possible to connect to Destiny servers until those issues resolve.

3 通の返信Has this issue been resolved? I’ve loaded into about half a dozen games without received an error… Maybe I’m just getting lucky?

1 返信Same issue for me TPG internet in Melbourne. I can play maybe 1 game and then get kicked for CABBAGE and COCONUT or other connection related codes. I cant even load up the tower currently. My internet is completely fine with high download speeds and low ping. Hopefully someone from Bungie can look into this problem later today US time..

North Shore, Sydney. Since this festival of the lost dropped I’ve experienced drop outs too. In orbit, activities and before I’ve selected character at the loading screen. Like many others I also use TPG. I’ve since left to play other games like Apex Legends and Ark: Survival Evolved and I have no latency or troubles whatsoever. Just thought I’d share my experience for verification.

2 通の返信Is it possibly a virus? I heard it's getting bad over there with the man coming to get those who don't have antivirus protection.

1 返信Also happening in the ACT on iiNet. I have to load into an activity multiple times before it lets me in and disconnects me during activities fairly frequently.

Also happening here, SA iinet, berely past title screen today, centipede error. Make it to orbit, try to get into the tower, make it all the way to a black loading screen, tower ambiance, continuous black screen for anywhere from seconds to minutes then cabbage error. Was able to play some the night before until continuous cabbage and coconut errors made it impossible to do anything.

Eliksni Apologistにより編集済み: 10/18/2021 9:38:06 AMHave also been having this issue, alongside my partner. We are in NSW and use TPG, with NBN. We tried to log on yesterday to do Festival of the Lost activities but could barely get to the Tower. We actually had to get bounties sitting in orbit through the companion app because we couldn't load in. We tried regular strikes, same error codes. Most frequently CABBAGE or CURRANT. And when we would get into a strike, we would make it not even half way through before the environment would have weird loading errors/missing textures and no enemy spawns and then proceed to be booted back to Orbit. So sad because I really want to participate in the event but it's very difficult to do even the basics.

Same here, tpg NSW. Constant error codes. Cant even get to the tower at times. If i had to guess i would say it doesn't happen on any other games due to the fact that destiny 2 uses their weird archaic hybrid peer-to-peer servers.

Yep East coast Aussie here. Same issues with currant and cabbage errors. I have clanmates across the country having the same error codes. I have found staying out of the menu/inventory helps a little, still get errors but more often I'll actually load into the game than sitting in a black screen for half a strike. Also found that after multiple attempts it's like the connection stabilises and can get 2 or 3 activities in a row before another cabbage error. Seems to have begun around the Telesto/FoL patch
