There's absolutely no doubt about it,....this game has far too many cheaters. Before you get out of your pram and start defending yourself, (yes, you know who you are), let's look at why I say this. I even found a script for a titan that you can make a jump but never go downwards! So you can simply rank up, get more power levels, get whatever drops occur, and have a fantastic score to show everyone how brilliant you are.....lol, and it works 24/7. In the meantime, those of us with no cheating in mind get on with the activities as the game was intended. Then you get sites that show how to do macros and give the code to run them, aim assist, skate macros to push you ahead, weapon swap macros, in fact the list is probably endless if you delve further. As the commentator on that video states, "it's still running and bungie care not". I have been playing these type of games for decades, on pc and console. They had cheat scripts back then also, but the amount of cheaters were small. It seems now that near everyone wants to be part of the cheating brigade. So why is this? Are all of them simply incapable of playing the game without a cheat? I doubt it unless they are just no good at gaming, in which case get another hobby. Are they all disabled? Again, I doubt it. The reason they cheat is usually because their mates do it. Oh they can spout other reasons, which I'm sure are correct, but usually cheats stick together. What has been done about this? Nothing, it's been going on since people elected a government, and before. Battle-eye, anti-cheat programs, for decades they have been out there, but it does not stop the cheats from finding out ways to create new cheats. I was in a nightfall strike about 2 days ago. We all know the barrier will not drop until the last baddie is killed, but here I have some player that simply goes through the barrier that I cannot. I stand and watch them go into the distance, then left the strike. I was in battlefields with 2 others. 1 left early and the 2nd left when they discovered that they simply could not cope. I continued by myself and finished it. People are unreliable. They either think they are hero's, and go as far as their little legs will carry them, without killing the overloads, (and leave them for the rest of the team), or simply go headlong into battle and die. Again, I left a strike team where 1 decided to use their little skidoo to go as fast as possible past everything to leave the enemy to the other 2. If you want to do a speed-run find 2 others to do it with, instead of making the strike disappointing for those that want to do it as normal. Some gamers do not know the meaning of a team. How many of you have done the VOG raid? Do you get the hero on the first part with 3 plates, 2 to a plate, and they have to kill from both sides? jumping around like they have some form of "cannot keep still" problem, and jump in front of you whilst you are shooting.....and end up shooting in the -blam!- back? There are some out there that are just simply immature. Why don't all of you that feel the need to cheat or run scripts, just go away? No-one will miss you. No-one wants you. You are the part of society that is basically despised by all the honest people. I don't bother with the PvP section of the game, it's simply a playground for cheats. There are those that do play it and do not cheat, but get frustrated by the cheaters. I would play that part of the game but do not want to get frustrated, and before you make a smart comment like, "get better", get rid of the cheaters and the game WILL become better. I, as many others, have invested money in this game, but you know what? we all invest money in something that ends up in the shed. After power level 1350 nothing changes, no matter how much power level you get to. I am at 1354 and no different to 1350. So ranking up to 800 with a power level of 1360 makes you no better.....and to get to that rank after 8 weeks you must be running macros or cheating, (both the same in my book). I doubt I will be getting the witch season coming out next. I have invested enough money to now see that the game is inherently swamped by cheaters, and bungie have not really addressed that issue. Yes, the game will not miss me, but bungie will miss my money. Maybe if others decide to make a stand then bungie might just invest some time in creating a real "anti-cheat" system. Such a shame that the degenerates of gaming society have to ruin the game for others.
