I’m 100% positive this will 0 likes but I don’t care…
I wish I could log into destiny and whip out my:
• Izanagis Burden
• Palindrome adept
• Ascendancy
Then go tear up a Nightfall. That’s one thing I miss about Destiny 1. Use whatever works. But now I’m forced to use
• combat bow/ auto rifle
• fusion
• linear fusion
Isn’t a bad loadout it’s just that… if you can’t win the way you want to win… we’ll then it starts to lose its glory. What’s the point of playing if there’s no glory into it.

3 通の返信We need change. I myself included would get bored if the meta wasn’t changed at all. My favorite was anti barrier sniper.

5 通の返信They tried the sniper buffs but bungo got mad because we were "shooting from a distance with no drawbacks"..... Yeah thats how snipers work

2 通の返信Only thing these mods are needed for are grand master. Nobody is forcing you to play any kind of way but if you do want to succeed in higher level content you’re going to need the meta mods & weapons. Which is fair, why play all season to only use Pali and izanagis lol?

5 通の返信This post just exposes the mentality of this forums which is to just always be negative instead of positive. The point of these mods changing every season AS SAID BY BUNGIE was to move the spotlight on to different sets of weapons. All you see it as is that they are locking you out of all other weapons and “forcing” you to use them. And the fact that you all say you are being forced when these mods are only NEEDED in GM nightfalls just shows how you will ignore everything that makes you look wrong and only focus on what makes you look right. If you have nothing better to do then exaggerate and lie about a game, then I’m not sure why you are even wasting time playing this game.

I’d really like to see combo mods like how we had unstoppable linear and normal fusions. Like overload automatic (smg’s & auto rifles.) anti barrier precision(bows & scouts) & unstoppable pistols (hand cannon & side arms.)

1 返信The overload, unstoppable, and barrier mods should just be mods that give you the option to use any primary, special and heavy you want. You should just be able to slap the mod onto your weapon, or just have it on your arms as they are now, so you can use exotics as well, but have them be open for any weapon - you just decide in which weapon section you want to apply them. How it is now LIMITS the game and everyone's running around with the same things. Isn't that what Bungie claimed was the reason they sunsetted old weapons and armor? But their entire gameplay setup is geared towards forcing players to play with the same thing all the time. Stupid.

Only reason my hunter has it on is for the stat boosts from stasis. Id much rather run arc but those stat boosts were just to good to pass up. Lock runs void and titan runs arc. And i use whatever i want for weapons. Im done playing how bungie wants me to play. If theres something i cant beat because of that then oh well, i just consider it time wasted by the dev team cause thats 1 less person in that activity they "worked so hard on" lol

5 通の返信A long-standing community complaint. We’re all tired of Bungie using the champion system to micromanage what weapons we use. There are lots of gear I’d have fun playing with, but can’t because they are ineffective this season against champions. The irony is that Bungie’s efforts to make me play more by artificially shaking up the meta, actually makes me play less. Because their artificial metas get stale faster than letting me play with what I want to play.

2 通の返信What I like is them to not only allow us to unlock all the mods so we can try different builds and test the mods as well What I also like is for then to make the mods work without it being tied to only a small number of weapon. For ex. If we have anti-barrier and once its unlocked all we have to do is equip a scout, assault rifle or w.e weapon that is compatible with it (basically working in the background) Same goes for unstoppable and overloads. Time to let go of these restrictions, and high glimmer charge for resetting. It's just silly and outdated at this point. But knowing bungie they qont do this any time soon

I agree as well. Would love to be able to pull the weapons I like to use. Seeing alot of posts to remove champions though, I dont think thats the best solution, the content would just be far too easy and we would have another round of complaints...All bungie has to do is give us more weapon choices to use with the champion mods.

I think the champion mod system needs a redesign, first it takes up multiple slots on your arm armour, and it's really restrictive in general. If it were me i'd have dedicated anti-champion mod slots as part of the seasonal artifact, while having champion mods as "close range, mid range and long range" rather than being tied to specific weapon types

Champion mods are just another way to make you grind for every combo of gun in this game and fill your vault with these endless combos. Don’t dare tossing that arc sidearm you don’t use. . . It might be the only gun keeping you from clearing that master nightfall someday.

3 通の返信Actually 100% agree with this. Just more lazy Bungie. Creating fake difficulty and fake variety. But there is no other game like this sooooo it will have to do sadly.

1 返信U have little faith in the community if u think u’d get 0 likes on this post. I, for my part gave it a thumbs up which means I agree with what u said. Having Barrier on just AR’s this season is a joke on us all. Didn’t they just buff scouts? Woulda been nice to take scouts into GM’s this season but I guess Bungie didn’t see it that way.

Totally 100% agree! I must admit that I have started to like the champions mechanic: BUT, this seasons mods are just making 99% of my vault unusable. A nice idea is to allow for every exotic weapon to have a champion mod (one of whichever you like) There must always be alternative options for every champion. Running around with an auto rifle that requires 2+ clips to just kill basic enemies in GM is a huge downer for me. No way the playtesters imagined this would be fun for six months...

A lot of power comes from mods now so they don’t need to make as many weapon adjustments. No reason to nerf a dominate loadout when PT makes fusions insane for the first time in….. ever…. First time they’ve been pve meta
