1 返信I think they should either remove everworse entirely and have paid expansions, or remove paid expansions entirely and pay for their product through everworse. They should do one or the other.

2 通の返信I don't see how it effects the game tbh, items are purely cosmetic and they look dope

15 通の返信Saying Eververse is bad for the game is a tired and lazy narrative. It's just cosmetic items and purely optional. Sure we were all skeptical in the beginning (forums blowing up with "KILL TESS EVERIS" posts) but seeing how the proceeds have contributed towards creating the healthiest state the Destiny franchise has ever been in.... surely this is no longer a debate.

11 通の返信As long as it's not pay to win I'm fine with it. If someone wants to spend some money to change the look of something it is up to them.

As long as it doesn’t change from cosmetics to actual weapons and -blam!- I have no issue with it. Almost everything rotates through from bright dust to silver so you really aren’t forced (for the most part) to purchase silver at all. Even with special event cosmetics such as fol and dawning I have no issue buying as the price isn’t that bad compared to other games.

6 通の返信Not bad at all. As long as its only useless things like cosmetics and what not it’s fine.

17 通の返信Used to be bad when Activision was the publisher It's been way better since,no more loot box, actual armor and weird booster 100% cosmetic with a good flow of dust item per week

74 通の返信TheArtistにより編集済み: 10/5/2021 12:47:28 PMI'm going to put this very simply. 1. Without Eververse this game---as we currently enjoy it---would not be possible. Everyone of Bungie's competitors who tried to make a simlar game (no sub fees) without microtransactions? Failed miserably. The lack of revenue led to a lack of content. The Division 2 tried it...and ended up having to abandon it. THESE KINDS OF GAMES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE TO MAKE AND TO MAINTAIN. 2. Without Eververse this game would change in one of two ways. a. We'd pay the same amount (or more) for DLC....and get LESS content. (Eververse distributes the additional cost over the entire playerbase, instead of requiring it be paid by every player). Much like the early days of Destiny 1....we'd get annual expansions...and then have MASSIVE content droughts in between. or... b. We'd have to start paying a monthly sub fee (unlikely, but mtx stores in persistant world games like this either reduce or eliminate the need for monthly sub fees) The tendency of players when they face mtx schemes is to think in terms of "what the micros keep me from getting"....namely cosmetics. They dont' think in terms of 'what extra do I get because a percentage of the player base is willing to shoulder that additional cost" There is instead a tendency to think, "I'm entitled to this at no cost". Reality? No you're not.

5 通の返信If I see something that I like and if I have the money to spend, I buy it. From Eververse, Taco Bell, or Adam & Eve. This is the way the world works. If I thought we would get a Whisper or Outbreak style quest with every season if I didn't spend money on Eververse, I probably wouldn't. People sometimes say that purchasing from Eververse makes Bungie rich and lazy. I don't believe that it makes them lazy. I do occasionally have issues with the way Bungie implements certain aspects of D2. That is normal. In the years I have played D2, I never felt that I didn't get good value for the money. I spend the money I make the way I want and hope for the best. In D2 and in life.

MNN8TVにより編集済み: 10/6/2021 1:00:06 AMI don’t think anyone “likes” eververse. But for the most part they have stuck to what they said and you can’t accomplish pay to win. Meaning everything is entirely optional. And it’s possible to obtain specific things without paying just by playing dedicatedly. Essentially if people want something bad enough to pay for it then they are just supporting the games development/ paychecks of people who developed it. Which is a good thing for the health of the game. While also promoting the creation of additional cosmetics.

5 通の返信I'm a little in between, I like how there's a currency that you don't need to pay real money for AND how everything is cosmetic (with the exception of some sparrows which has stats but who cares about those?) But at the same time, microtransactions. No bueno

2 通の返信A_moにより編集済み: 10/5/2021 1:41:33 PMIf 50% of the Duchy goes to back into the Duchy then that's still $5000 for the game. So playable content would be losing out on 5 grand. So its still a reasonable deal for the player. You know what I wonder? How much of this goes into PvP because everything that's not Trials seems to be lacking in resources.

9 通の返信It's bad when it's pratically the thing the focus on each season and we hardly see that money invested back into the game. I mean look at it like this every season eververse gets a full restock of stuff no problem But they can't make a single new crucible map every season? A new strike each season?
-
If they used it the way they said they were going to it would be fine. But they havent. Its heavily over priced and in return we see bland sub-par "content" that only satisfies the people that maybe play 2hrs a week. Anyone that plays more than that has to grind out the seasonal activity because theres simply nothing left to do. Hell i skipped most of season 13 and all of season 14 save for i logged on once to get rhe exotic. Came back at the start of S15 when crossplay dropped so i could play with my xbox friends (im on PC) and im already burnt out and bored looking for other games to play that actually have full content or that at least has replayability that doesnt feel like a slog fest. The seasonal model only gives the most casual of players something to keep them going, to anyone else it feels just the same as the content droughs of D1 where youre stuck grinding the same pointless activities youve already run a thousand times for no reward.

2 通の返信Bungie is private, so we really have no idea to what extent revenue from eververse contributes to maintaining what we have and developing new stuff. What I do know is that I’d be far more inclined to throw a few bucks at the store if the prices were more reasonable. There’s at least 5 or 6 weapon ornaments I want but there’s no way I’m spending like $30-40 on that. Same goes for some of the armor ornaments, in particular the legendary sets. Like I only want one piece from a certain set and there’s no way I’m spending $15 (more than twice the price of an exotic ornament) on it.
