End game PvP hmm.... Lets think about that and compare it to end game pve.
End game PvP should SBMM for it to be comparable.

Exactly. Strict RBMM or SBMM no loot for anyone unless you go flawless no mercy card you lose you return to orbit n start again. No card based. Nah no gm loot in strikes keep em both elitist. Hard and no forgivness

I'm being sarcastic, 400,000 players pouring into trials to get a Messanger because the can at any skill level is good for the game. It would be nice if some of those players decide to stay an bolster a dying game modes population.

Win based matchmaking is enough for everyone to have a chance at a messenger which is good. Not everyone needs a shot at adept guns from flawless though. SBMM and flawless pool are both doing more than what’s needed to make the player pool bigger.

Nah Gms are end game pve it should be hard for everyone gms are 25 higher light and modifiers stacked against you, limited revives based on champion kills n if you wipe you go to orbit empty handed. End game PvP should be equally difficult for all playing, strict SBMM or RBMM n no mercy as well as no loot unless you go flawless.

I’ll agree with one small change. Win based matchmaking. Having a higher skill level doesn’t hurt you in a GM, with your system it would in PvP. That seems a lot like a saying we want you to be good at PvE but if you’re good at PvP you will have a harder time with no increased reward. Or, bronze/silver/gold/plat/diamond skill levels with a different shader or emblem available for each higher tier. No reason the gamemode should get harder without giving a reward. Many many other games have the same thing built into their competitive modes.
