Can we make them do like little to no damage to supers?
Cause it’s a bit broken when you cast like
Any Titan based super
Or any super in general
And a hunter just throws a glacier gernade and you accidentally shatter it with a slam or something
And then your dead.
The glacial quake crystals are fine that’s a super
But like ability based stasis crystals should do little to no damage against supers. Against non supers? Fine, one hit understandable. Against bubble? Not understandable.
It’s mega annoying to pop my well of radiance only to get instantly killed in it to a shatter dive
Or be in a teammates bubble and suddenly everyone inside explodes into stasis crystals or to pheonix dive in a super and someone throws a glacier gernade right before you hit the ground and you die
Please?
EDIT: this is regarding PvP. It’s fine in pve, just PvP nerf pls

2 通の返信It's not glacier nades, its hunters. You don't see Warlocks or Titans running glacier.

11 通の返信Shatterdive is just too easy to use and too powerful against anything, teams can get wiped, supers destroyed, no other class has an ability that can do both of those things with ease.

5 通の返信What you are talking about here isn't relegated to Hunter. Any class can throw a stasis grenade in front of your super and if you slam into and shatter them you will die. Glacier grenade needs to be steong because it's a risk/reward play. Using a glacier grenade and then sliding or diving into it leaves you exposed in the open to any enemy in the area. Nerfing the damage would make it useless in pve. I don't really care if they nerf it in pvp, but even that is unnecessary. It's just the regen perks that are too strong. If a person wants to save a glacier grenade to deal with your completely op super then that's fine. Using them and getting them back almost instantly with a kill is the issue.

16 通の返信You realize doing this would inadvertently effect behemoths super in super vs super fights. Glacial grenade is just 5 large crystals and behemoth spawns large crystals. The problem is 5 large crystals, when shattered, deal 265 damage to 300 damage. That's enough to ohk any super. The best solution is to remove 1 crystal from the grenade. This would drop the damage to 210-230. So only weaker supers would die from shatter damage.

3 通の返信Ok but hear me out on this. Rework glacier grenade usage. Glacier grenades form a [i]wall[/i], so why do we use a [i]wall[/i], something that by default implies it’s a defensive tool of sorts, for offence? We have other options for stasis grenades that are designed for offence that get no room to shine because of glacier grenades being designed the way they are. Remove shatter damage from glacier walls altogether. Make it so you can still break them like we do, but remove shatter damage entirely to make way for the actual offence focused stasis grenades we have right now, and leave glacier wall for defensive play. This would make things surely feel quite a bit better because it opens a different play style rather than a new way to click a button and win fights. Well what do you do with shatterdive and the titan slide? Don’t change what they do. Allow them to break the walls still just without the damage. This creates counter-play and doesn’t essentially destroy what the abilities are and make them useless in a way. Really it’s quite simple to balance this stuff. We’re focused around fine tuning numbers from shatters, but why not just come up with a new idea? An idea that not only balances things a lot better, but one that opens up opportunities for other abilities in the process. It wouldn’t even take much work to do either!

4 通の返信Honestly. For the bubble if you and your team managed to get killed by shatterdive...inside..well...you kinda deserved it. But yes i agree crystals are way too good against roaming supers.

It shouldn’t be so easy to confirm a kill on someone in their super with an overshield. However, it’s not just Hunters that have glacier grenades. Titans can replicate the same combo with their stasis slide. Nade, run, slide, repeat. Shatter damage needs the nerf, not shatterdive. Pass it on.
