After playing several matches in the new playlist we've all decided...It's trash. The zone is stupid, trials isn't control, nor was it intended to be played around a capture point. The fact that losing a round basically puts the flag in your spawn the next round is ridiculous, as teams will be up 4-0, lose one round, and be rewarded with a free round when the zone is returned to their spawn. When Bungo said that the zone would move after being in the center of the map for the first round, I didn't know it meant you had to take three steps before setting up your lawn chairs, tents, and a BBQ grill in a healing rift for the round. This gamemode is trash, and when flawless queue comes in Sunday, hopefully this gamemode gets removed. The only possibility of improvement is making the flag operate on more of a tug-o-war system, or, better yet...take this trash out of the game.

The mode is fine if you are solo vs solo or team vs team. The issue is that anytime you have an objective goal on a PVP map a team that is communicating will always have a big advantage over randoms. This furthers the current gap between solos and teams and why more solo team stomping has gone on this weekend. I don't think it was a good idea to roll out this test while trying to figure out how to improve the solo trials experience.

1 返信Before you fix anything else please fix the Broken Stars 2 quest ; where I got the skews while using another character now the progression will not go forward and the skews will Not reappear. Waited for multiple resets and hot fixes still not fixed. I did pay for this season like all the other ones I payed for bought tour $100 witch queen in advance. Just free money . I do Not understand why this has at least been addressed like saying when it will be fixed or some sort of acknowledgment. It’s one thing to have a bug another to ignore the people who can not enjoy the paid content . I truly enjoy your game most days but this is the kind of thing that sends people the other direction when they see tour next product. Please a fix or feedback from the company not just from random people who can not fix the problem. It’s a small number but we are still customers. Sorry about being angry but Cmon man!!

For everyone saying this mode isn’t complete and utter dog water that’s all fine and well, just don’t force me to be a guinea pig for some trash gamemode called “Trials Lab” ffs make it a separate GM like crucible lab was, this bs literally throws off the flow of a trials match so bad especially for those just solo queueing or two person running. Last week was as good as trials was gonna get imo and this week bungie is really out here rewriting the saying and making it one step forward two back, Ideas are fine but hopefully they recognize when they fail horribly. No need for the winning team each round to be punished or just flat out have a person sit on flag while the other two just keep you from getting to them. Definitely nothing wrong with trying to add a little more complexity to a game mode that before was just “kill or be killed, that’s it” but this wasn’t the way. The point is nice as a way to put pressure on an enemy team that’s either down to 1, or acting super passively, but it should be a neutral point in the middle of the map. If anything I don’t see why they can’t just have this be one of two games modes that make up trials so people who do want to succeed purely off gun fighting skill can still do that if they want to.

Last week I was able to hard carry myself or clutch up a couple rounds at a time to go flawless cause I could win the gun fights based on skill. This week I can’t string two wins together to save my life cause my trash teammates left The other guys sit on zone or I win the gunfight but they captured zone. No skill required to sit in one place... this isn’t what trials is supposed to be about.

I would personally describe it as a train wreck into a dumpster fire, during a hurricane; however, I think your analysis is more useful. Personally, this map is one of my least favorites, which doesn't help either. Though, one issue I noticed (other than my abysmal performance) was that having capture point near your spawn during heavy round makes for strange positioning. You have to push past the point to prevent the enemy team from getting free heavy, but then you leave the point open with your back to the point. The positioning always felt odd in that scenario.

Completely agree, this mode needs to GTFO. This mode prevents any type of team turn around if your team is down even one player (left, dead or otherwise). I loved the rush and feeling of my team being down two players, me being last alive, and being able to somehow win the round with a multi-rezz or a solo-team wipe. Hell, even when I watch a Blueberry do it, its a stellar experience, something which this 'capture' mode outright murders in an abandoned warehouse with a shallow grave out back. It even completely discourages a team to fight back to a win from 4-0, because once you get a win, the zones moving to the opponents side. And as for it being a preventative to camping.... No, it encorages it. Ive only done a handful of matches and I have watched several teams just camp out the zone, Super or no. If this is a mode that they keep, me and the lads are just going to skip the week its in. This mode isnt about skill, its about who has enough snags in their back pocket to outlast the other team.

11 通の返信Somebody's gotta be loving it because after 3 wins I can't get more than 2 rounds won. Matchmaking is sure as hell not working in my favor. I'm pretty sure I'm out for the rest of the season after this weekend. Nobody likes getting stomped constantly, no matter how much you reward them. You might have caught lightning in a jar for a moment there Bungie. But to the shock of pretty much nobody I'm sure, you Bungie'd it.

1 返信I enjoyed it and it was something different, I even went flawless for the 1st time in D2. I'm rubbish with snipers and always got sniped in trials but come close to me and I'll have a chance. This is what is needed sometimes; to take the sweats and cry barbies out of their comfort zones so other's have a chance.

Hopefully Bungie takes these posts with a grain of salt. They probably just say. Ok that didn’t work. What is the feedback. I wish they would focus on the match making thing they are working on first and then try new modes. I feel like focusing on both just frustrates everyone. If they’re going to focus on labs now; they should of made it, it’s own thing with less gear and maybe a unique shader or emblem. Testing match making and new mode just seems to be too much for the community

8 通の返信I like it, it adds another layer of engagement in trials. Forces the passive campy players to play out of their comfort zones. When someone is camping the point it's pressure on the opposing team to push and pressure in the defending to cap it. I like it, I hope they keep.
