I basically never see legendary fusions in PVP and PVE. Even in a season where the artifact encourages their use, I mostly see exotic fusions. The nerf was meant to make the softer hitting fusions more appealing, but it just made people avoid the weapons completely.

I’m trying to use the latest high impact fusion rifle in PvP. It’s not easy. However I did discover that they still retain their OHK range and are surprisingly consistent. On a bad note: Accelerated Coils doesn’t do anything to lower the charge time

I’m with you on this one. The frames that have that, what is it? 740 charge time? Something around that. Those frames seem to be the best options right now, but they don’t really feel chunky like the high impacts, so they aren’t as fun to me in any modes. I do not like any of the super fast charge ones, and I’m just sad that the high impacts feel bad to use now...

1 返信Yeah it’s ridiculous to have a full one sec charge time in a meta full of weapons that can kill under that.

16 通の返信Rapid fire fusions are in some of the top percentages for weapons used in pve. Cartesian and null composure and plug 1 are meta picks for pve while zealots and Cartesian and plug 1 are ramping up in pvp usage. Slow fusions have been dominant since season 4 and it’s about time they step out of the spotlight.

3 通の返信High impacts feel worthless in pve. However I will say rapid fire and aggressive frame are extremely good for dps, especially with the mod and I see plenty of people running legendary fusions. Also they should have given us a stasis fusion rifle.

6 通の返信Fussions are everywhere legendary and exotics.. Dont know why you haven't seen any... I would love your lobbies if you don't see any fusions at all.

1 返信I feel like this kind of depends on how you look at it. All other fusions got buffed and so each has a very effective use if played around correctly, where as High impacts can still be very powerful if spaced correctly, but they are substantially more punishing. In pvp, I honestly think they are fine, maybe turn up the damage to like...65 or something so that it hits like an absolute freight train against supers and the like, but in pve they are lacking. Not really sure how to tune them in pve other than just giving them more damage.

10 通の返信Yeah. I think Bungie tried to get ahead of another round of complaints about fusion rifles from PVP, by lengthening the charge time on high-impacts. All they managed to do is make them useless in both sides of the game. They still dont' get that the niche for fusion rifles is as a mid-range weapon. Anything closer than that, people are going to either opt for an SMG or a shotgun.

I used to main my glacioclasm in PvE and pvp AND gambit before the update. Used it for like 2 activities after the update and vaulted it because it feels so awful to use now. In pvp put it this way right? High impact fusions used to take 4 bolts out of 7 to kill the target, and they had that 900 charge time. Right now high impact fusions take 4 out of the 5 bolts to kill the target, and they charge SLOWER NOW at 1000 ms. They outright super nerfed the absolutely mega -blam!- out of high impacts to the point where you may as well never use them and only use the faster charging ones in all situations even in PvE. It’s a real shame cuz I was growing to love my glacioclasm and now it’s nearly impossible to use or do reasonable damage with in PvE and pvp

Zer0Warri0rにより編集済み: 9/17/2021 3:20:12 PMidk man ever since I got null composer this season I havent unequiped it unless I needed specific weapon kills. I love rapid-fire fusions its just gonna be a shame when the seasonal mod goes away in half a year. Its feels like what loaded question should have been. My problem with loaded question is that it was slow in every aspect it was only worth firing the first shot in the mag, reloaded slow enough it was faster to reload it with transversive steps, and it had a really long pull out time. Null composer is great when you need to quick swap and blast something, its fast enough where I feel like im not wasting time or ammo not reloading before firing again, and with a reload mod which is on the artifact this season it reloads at a decent speed. All around im really happy with how they have finally made fusion rifles not only viable in PVE, but rivaling the meta right now. Very happy with the fusion changes.

Amaziniteにより編集済み: 9/17/2021 12:11:48 PMI’d rather they buff high impact fusion damage than revert the charge rate changes. I’ve used high impact fusions (and fusions in general, since they’re my favorite specials) a lot in PvE and they just don’t feel like good weapons to use anymore, but if they want to keep the fusion archetypes more split by charge rate then they should really lean into the high impact part of high impact fusions. Null Composure on the other hand. I started making good use of that last season and with the changes to fusions this season I’m absolutely loving it and other rapid fire fusions. I tried using the Plug One earlier this week and I just couldn’t handle not having that super fast charge rate.

3 通の返信High impacts were hit too hard imo and when we have bastion and telesto still sitting down in the 700's charge time area why would we use a 1000 with only 5 bolts? Never really used Bastion before this change hit high impacts but now if Im not running null composure Im running it in both pvp and pve Likely why we are seeing alot more Jotunn users too this season even if it is easy to avoid. Also found Ive been running a sniper a bit and pre this season never really ran them so Im enjoying that at the moment.
