The high impact archetype of ARs has virtually no place in the game. In PvP, they’re the slowest killing and least forgiving of the ARs. Buffing their rate of fire to 390 would give them an optimal ttk of 0.77 seconds and make them slightly more forgiving. If necessary, the precision multiplier could be slightly reduced. This would actually make high impact ARs viable in the sandbox

13 通の返信Bungie needs to consolidate them like they did with Handcannons and just turn all 360s into 450s or something. 360 - slow and bleh 450 - your average Joe 600 - jack of all trades 720 - gun go brrrr Why? 360s are basically just Scout rifles with none of the stability or range damage. And honestly, 720s should just be trimmed into smgs.

High impact autos were slated to get a buff in the same way patch that made gnawing hunger meta but they pulled it at the last minute. Now after sunset, bungie won’t give us back our Halfdan reissue because they know they’d have to update the perk Pool and any of these perks would break the game. Imagine tunnel vision/ MK clip on the Dan. NASTY!

1 返信They suck to use when you encounter flinch. I use Halfdan a lot in PvP and most of the gunfights I lose are due to flinch making me miss shots.

4 通の返信I believe 450s still hold the title of worst auto, even after the buff. Their optimal ttk requires 6 crits without missing a shot. By comparison, 360s are much more forgiving as you can land 1 or 2 bodies and still keep your optimal ttk.

1 返信The problem is in their typing. High Impact are accurate and are best used standing still, but unfortunately every portion of the game other than DPS phases require you to be mobile. IMO Bungie could do what they did with hand cannons, and make 360 and 450 Precision at 400 RPM.

3 通の返信I disagree with the buff you want to give them. They suck balls because they don't have good recoil to even hit their shots in the first place. Because a .83 is VERY competitive and with their range they could actually be very solid if you could land your shots. Recoil reduction is key to making them viable.

1 返信I have an Age Old Bond with either Kill Clip or Rampage, absolutely deletes people in 1v1s at least. Haven't used it in regular crucible yet

3 通の返信Yeah make it do 210 per round, also give it more range and may as well add wall hacks that track all enemies within 75 meters, and also give it wolfpack rounds and increase rate of fire to 720

Yes. Pls buff 360's to have better handing and stability if they are gonna compete in pulse rifle territory. They are not bad, just need a little shove to be better in pvp. Or just give a lil bit more dmg? Pls also buff 450's with slightly more dmg? I find myself opting for a 360 or 600 in either slot over my God roll braytech werewolf, which is my favorite gun, because I get absolutely swamped and murdered in PVE situations where I am being rushed by champions or swarms of thralls. Just can't kill fast enough, even with all headshots. Thats my only complaint on 450's. In pve they are outshined, in pvp, its the same deal, bc you can't put out dmg fast enough to kill your target before they kill you.

1 返信I agree with the buff, vex was increased to 390 and look at how powerful it got from a simple rate of fire. The issue is considering vex is somehow doing so good on pvp, An archetype of 390 will probably not exist. I honestly have no idea how the vex is currently the most used weapon in the game, its overrated and I never lose my 1v1’s to it. I literally went flawless this past weekend without losing a single fight to the vex.
