Wish Ender Anti Barrier
Does anyone else think that Wish Ender (Exotic Bow) should have anti barrier as an intrinsic perk?
With its over-penetration, it makes a lot of sense to me that it could pierce a barrier champions bubble, even though I know that bows tend to end up as overload from the relic.

Hell, perhaps this theoretical catalyst could add a perk that adds multiple anti champion intrinsics

9 通の返信Wish-Ender, Sky Burners Oath and Hardlight should be Anti-barrier. Coldheart should be a stasis weapon since we got stasis legendaries now.

4 通の返信Anti barrier wouldn’t make Wishender a good weapon. Please, please stop trying to slap anti barrier on every bad weapon. A bad weapon is still bad whether it has intrinsic anti barrier or not.

(Same damage as an Aggressive Frame Sniper) Catalyst could be called 'My Final Wish': if you hit an Enemy and they survive then they are weakened, taking in more damage from all sources and are marked with Queens Wrath for not only you but also your team for a brief period of time. To unlock the Catalyst players have to enter the 15th wish in the Last Wish raid.

Wishender doesn't feel special at all at the moment, even with wall hacks it's just not worth using for anything so yeah give it some love cos the quest was long enough to deal with... Then it just sits in vault.

3 通の返信As i read through comments, can't help myself not to wonder, have you guys even considered that exotics do not need to deal gazillion damage to be exotics? As for unique traits, Wish Ender has not one, but 2: can make omelette, and when fully drawn, you can see what your neighbor is doing behind closed doors. I hear Sjur herself used it for some shady stuff for that exact reason. Good weapon, bad weapon, yadayadayada. In my book, there are only good and bad players.

8 通の返信Here's a hot take. They they should turn it into a special ammo weapon. I don't know if any of you were around for the wishender glitch but it was an absolute blast.

1 返信Personally think they should do away with the anti stuff as mods all together and just add them onto all the weapons we can toggle between as additional perks. Maybe have it where for example an auto can drop with Anti Barrier and Anti Overload but that same auto could drop and have anti Overload and Anti Unstoppable. This way they could open more spaces in the artifact for more newer type of mods.

I was really bummed out when they didn't do anything for a catalyst for the Wish Ender bow for the finale of the Dreaming City storyline. I rmean, the bow's name is WISH ENDER. And yeah, Wish Ender should have anti-barrier intrinsically AND do more damage, or stacking damage, similar to Hawkmoon to tough targets.

2 通の返信All exotics should have anti champ mods that correspond to the weapon (I.e. le monarque-overload, thorn-overload, skyburners-anti barrier, hawk moon-unstoppable, etc)

1 返信There's nothing wrong with giving this bow anti-barrier. The bow hits like a damn truck. I understand that anti-barrier bow sucks but that's when you put it on mere mortal bows. This bow was Sjur Eido, the first Queen's Wrath. There isn't really anyone else in the lore who uses a bow as their go-to weapon. For those saying you need a catalyst first for the bow: the anti-barrier comes as part of the catalyst. It also adds rapid hit or archer's tempo to it or it's own unique version which is a mix of both perks, so that its rate of fire increases. This implies (to any who take the RPG side of Destiny seriously) that with the catalyst, you have mastered the bow. Or just make it so that it guarantees an overpenetration when you hit a champion. Both hits to the champion knocks its shields off. So many negative people about in the world who immediately resort to hating a weapon because they don't like it and that suggestions to make it better shouldn't be considered. Be better 👍
