We put in the time and effort to do the tasks, yet Bungo has programmed so much RNG into the game that it keeps giving us Pinnacles over and over again in the same slot, and IMO it’s ust a crappy thing to do.
I really don’t care how much hardcore gamers and YouTubers champion Bungo’s ridiculous RNG, the rest of us don’t live in our mother’s basement playing video games for 8 hours a day. We play despite having full time jobs and responsibilities. Our time should be rewarded accordingly.
EASE UP ON THE FREAKIN’ RNG BUNGO!!!!
No need to keep us playing artificially. If you just keep things fun and interesting, we’ll play your game naturally.

I've been getting pants for like 6+ years. All of my drops. At this point it just makes me laugh. I did just get 3 helmets from the free last wish chest. Exactly what I was looking for. Sub par stats too. Absolute perfection.

Zer0Warri0rにより編集済み: 9/10/2021 7:43:47 PMThis is the one thing thats keeping me from coming back to Destiny in full force. I play content for the fun factor even if I dont get loot. From forsaken to shadowkeep (when I quit) I have over 111 LW clears. ran a couple on a buddies account to get him a good roll on Supremacy. I loved raiding so much Id pull grey armor and weapons out of my collection to sherpa LFG petra runs back when lvling up I feel was a lot easier. I feel like the leveling revamp was a HUGE waste of time and money from Bungie to me since they could have put that time into revamping literally anything else like better armor designs that you dont swipe a credit card for. They said people complained about lvling up too quickly but honestly that had to be such a small minority and now they made it so you only have to go up 10 lvls instead of 50 lvls each season. Its a step forward but honestly the best thing they can do for the game right now is make it so all upgrades before hard cap always target your lowest light slot and from hard cap to pinnacle cap its impossible to get doubles.

2 通の返信For all those replying that it's rng, deal with it: I dont think the complaints are about that. I think what most ppl believe is that it's controlled rng to increase grind. Something like: 1st drop - equal chance of getting any drop slot 2nd drop - 80% chance of getting same as 1st drop slot, 20% chance of getting any thing else 3rd drop - 60% chance of getting 1st drop slot, 40% chance of getting 2nd drop if different from 1st drop Etc. This may not be the case, but there's enough ppl that experience this and that causes all complaints. There is also the fact that so many ppl are playing an rng gave that there are bound to be exceptions to the rng; where a few will always get what the want in the first few drops and some will never get what they want. I personally think that there is an algorithm that controls the rng. They just need to ease up on the controlling algorithm, not the rng.

2 通の返信The RNG manipulation has gotten stupid with this game. I guess when you don't produce content that is replayable manipulating the RNG is the next best things to keep players running certain content. It's funny how it doesn't matter if a loot pull is huge or tiny. You get the same effect. It's not like Bungie has full control over drop rates that they can increase or decrease a drop rate anytime they want like duplicates.

18 通の返信In D1, even when I was done with my task for Iron Banner. I would still go back there on other nights just to chill with my beer and enjoy an event that comes in once a month in the game. That was the highlight of my evening when IB is on. I would enjoy it even when I'm not doing any quest for it. Then I would hit the sack a happy gamer. Now, I would go to Iron Banner and the experience is so lack luster and painful I would constantly check my pinnacle bounties or my quests after every end of a match to see if they're done. That's how lousy IB matches has become. After you'd finish your IB pinnacle bounties, you would think at least you got some sort of consolation from playing all that bitter endless mercies match after match. You may think, at least you got pinnacle bounties done even after going through all of that. So you go cash in your pinnacle IB bounties and decrypt them. On one character, for some reason you'll get 4 primary weapons. Already the highest power in all of your gear. You go do that ordeal again with your 2nd character. And when you're done, you decrypt these pinnacle IB bounties again. This time, you get 4 boots on your 2nd character. Finally, you go into IB again with your 3rd and last character and do the same ordeal of mercy runs. When you are finally done with this 3rd and last character for the week, you go and decrypt your last set of precious IB pinnacle bounties. And finally, after 3 runs, you break the curse. You finally get 3 helmets and one weapon! Also a primary!!! State of the game! (Laughing on the floor!!!)

Pinnacle power is pointless anyway. Considering you're here talking about how you don't have time to play, I doubt you're doing GM's or Master VoG considering you're not a "living in your mothers basement playing 8 hours a day" pinnacle power is pretty pointless to you to. If you're going to complain for the sake of complaining at least do it about something that matters.

9 通の返信Bro you need 3 hours a week --MAX-- to do all the basic pinnacles, by the end of the season, you will be max. Not that you need Pinnacle power at all any ways, unless you're doing hard mode VoG... which is unlikely based on your post.

I work full time yet still was able to get 2 of my 3 characters to 1330 gear level last week. Doing all the pinnacles is in my case rewarded accordingly. Doing only a handful of what's available and not leveling gear in between with powerful drops will give you less of a chance to level up.

4 通の返信The Pinnacle Grind is specifically designed for hardcore players that want a feeling of progression past the Powerful Cap, it isn't designed to be something you can get to easily. We are just starting off the 3rd week of the season, you shouldn't expect to be 1330 on all characters. And before anyone goes on saying the game shouldn't specifically cater to hardcore players, that's why there is also Artifact Levels as a way for all players to have a feeling of progression past the Powerful Cap. Both systems were put in place to help remedy the problem of hitting max level so early in the season, these offer additional ways to progress level, which is a bonus for all players. With that said, if you want to get higher Pinnacle Level quicker, the best way to do so is the Vault of Glass. If you really want to get to the Pinnacle Cap quicker, you need to play Pinnacle Content. If you are not playing Pinnacle Content, you aren't going to hit the Pinnacle Cap quickly, that's just the way it is.

You mean something like opening 4 IB bounties and getting 4 primary weapons in a row this past week? Or opening pinnacles for many weeks and never getting the boots you need to get that last point up to max pinnacle n your Titan while the other two classes where maxed out over a month previously? Or running Strange Terrain NF's for a freaken year before you finally got the then worthless rocket launcher for the Wayfarer title? Or back in D1 days running VoG for years before finally getting the Vex Mytho and by then it was the re-released version? Want to wonder why I have yet to run VoG again in D2?? And that was back when I ran Raids religiously and patiently! To be fair I got my GJally on something like my 3rd clear and still feel the excitement and joy of that moment even now! Did not give a damn by the time I finally got he Mytho because I learned to live without it! (HINT HINT BUNGO!!!) Or, or, or, or, or a million faulty RNG-H (Really Never Gonna -Happen) weighting issues that is intentionally added to prevent us from any other life as we hunt the item they work so hard for us to NOT to get? Really, I have no idea what your complaining about. grumble grumble grumble!!!

6 通の返信Last week 6 chest pieces on Titan. 5 boots on hunter. 8 energy weapons on warlock. Oh and 39 clears on VOG, still no Mythoclast. But by GOD “streamers and content creators” aka: the chosen by Bungo always get what they want.

I remember we had same issues with the rng a fews years back and bungie did fixed it so it doesnt drop loots in same slot multiple times on same character for the full week. So, I'm wondering what gives now? Are they going back to that time when this first happened years ago?

8 通の返信KayOsS882により編集済み: 9/7/2021 11:08:17 PMSeriously, the season just started. You guys act like y’all need to max out ASAP. Why? So that you guys can post stuff like, “this game has no content”, “leveling is too easy”, “nothing to do”. Just play the game and let it do its thing. With the ranking up system, you should be high enough light level by the time GM rolls around.
