Feature to turn off aim-assist for consoles!
Why?
Because it sucks!
More than once have the auto-assist ruined my shot instead of hitting the thing i wanted to aim at!
Is there a lonewolf mode when running solo?
Can we have a banner?

1 返信Yes agreed 100%! I can't stand the auto aim. It ruins my experience. I'll be trying to turn left and the auto-aim is pulling me back to the right and vice versa. It's unbearable most times. Why is there no setting for this with a game that's 5 years old? Don't even get me started about the loot drops and leveling up which is impossible unless you're on the game 24/7. I paid for a ton of content I never get to play because of this leveling system and the ridiculous lack of matchmaking for higher level difficulty runs to get decent loot, ascendant shards, and enhancement prisms. Maybe by the end of the Season I'll be a high enough level to do a Master Nighfall but it hasn't happened the past 2 seasons. Do they realize a lot of us work? Wow I feel so unrewarded with this game anymore. Sorry had to let it ALL out. There's more but I'll stop.

I agree 100%. I wish there was an option to disable it. It's the first thing i do on COD. I'm an older player and groomed myself in Rainbow Six Black Arrow when aim assists wasn't a thing. My hand-eye-controller coordination works best without it. I personally think it's for weak players and used as a crutch in PVP! It should only apply to PVE activities.

1 返信I want this so bad cause I know all you guys who swear it messes you up will turn it off then instantly turn it back on the second you can’t hit the broad side of a barn and never mention anything about it ever again.

Example, I just got some one into destiny 2(about 2 weeks ago). and suggested he try the sticks on PC, his response "what the hell I dont even need to aim! Its weird too because instead of aiming its more about controlling the recoil." Or another person thats more of a destiny 1 and 2 vet when he pulls out adored and plugs in the sticks when hes traditionally a m&k player "how its this allowed? I dont even need to aim it just grips onto people" Honestly they should remove it from PC, I know not a popular idea but it would have one massive upside. Ximing would no longer be possible on PC. Such I am aware of an account of that flexes the use of XiM and even posts vids on twitch of them useing it and they have yet to be banned, also promotes it on other social media platforms such as twitter "I've been ximming since D1. It's not going anywhere."

3 通の返信You know that public event on Europa where you have to shoot those tiny drones? Where the aim doesn't pick them up? That is how no aim assist would be on console. It's AWFUL.

3 通の返信AA is two things Reticle friction & bullet magnetism Everyone has bullet magnetism Reticle friction is only on controller I agree that we should have the option to turn off reticle friction

Trust me man, even with as bad as the reticle pull from one target to another is, the aim assist is still definitely needed. I remember a few years ago playing halo combat evolved and I saw a skull that turned aim assist off in campaign. I thought "yeah I can aim really well, can't be that bad" oh buddy, it was that bad. Couldn't even accurately headshot a grunt and get my party celebrations to go off. Unless you are an absolute god, you need that aim assist, you won't be landing any shots without it.

2 通の返信Nah, they just need to fix aim assist so that it doesn’t get moved off whatever you’re aiming at if something walks in front of you.

1 返信Do you have any idea how crucial a controller needs aim assist? Its not even a debate, you know those times a hunter dodges and you suddenly miss all your shots until the guy stops dodging? Thats what no aim assist would look like if it was removed. Pc players don’t need it because they obviously have perfect aim depending on their arm and the of course no recoil, its extremely difficult trying to use a controller without aim assist. Try playing overwatch on console and turn off aim assist, good luck hitting anything.

2 通の返信Get some friends, go into a private match and put everyone on the same team. Equip a bow. Now run and jump and strafe around and try to hit each other. Arrows will stick to friendly players. You’ll see pretty quick how the benefits of target assist and reticle friction with controllers far outweigh the drawbacks.
