vex simply not dropping after 13 weeks
Hi
My name's Notorious___Vex and I play on PS4
Today was my 39th try at getting vex mythoclast and at this point I'm really wondering if I'm doing anything wrong.
I was searching for information about bad luck protection and the only thing that's not a speculative reddit thread I found is the TWAB from the 18th of march, which isn't really helpful to me.
I really wish we could've had real numbers and percentages instead of "don't worry, you'll get it, eventually".
But will I really get it eventually ? 39 raids is 13 weeks worth of raiding, I don't think it's a hot take to say this is too much
I really wonder if anyone else is in this situation
This was more of a rant than a real question but if any devs see this, please reassure me
I lost too many bets on this already
Edit : I'm a bit relieved to see I'm definitely not alone in this, ownership of the weapon seems actually lower than I thought
Way I see it, it's not getting nerfed at least until the release of Witch Queen, let's all keep going until then

Edit 2 : another week, another no vex, clanmate got it for the fourth time, sounds about right

2 通の返信This is good. Because if Vex becomes common, bungie will nerf it to the ground and we will receive another useless exotic. I prefer something will be really rare but good, then everyone will have it but it will be barely better then common legendary.

63 通の返信The gun doesn’t need a 20% drop rate if anything the bad luck protection should do is cap out at 10%. The gun is extremely good and should stay just chance, if everyone had it, it would be nerfed in a week especially with the way they nerf meta things in crucible . You can say “but it is meta in pvp” i will say “it doesn’t matter as long as a small amount of players relative to total active players has the gun”

1 返信From my understanding, the raid exotics typically have a base drop chance of about 5%. It then goes up by 1% per character clear for that week. Clearing the raid multiple times on a character in a single week does nothing to boost drop rates. I did the math last season and got 32 weeks of getting 3 clear each week should give you a 100% drop chance. But again, multiple clears on a single character in a week doesn't increase your odds since you only get 1 chance each week per character. The work around being, you delete 1 character and make a new one each time you clear the raid on that character.

1 返信50 Vault of Glass runs (sherpas not included) and no Vex,the bad luck Protection is brocken Bungie take a notice and fix this ,this is very frustating,I have thousands of hours in this game,and very loial but I am starting to reconsider,this is begining to feal like a bad joke twrone at us,and what I mean by Us,is that I am not alone in this situation as u can read the comments in this post and outher posts.So start reading and start fixing.

4 通の返信I feel you. I'm on 31 looted runs and nothing. I have every piece of armor and most of the best legendary rolls. I appreciate them sticking to the classic but I think most people would rather just have it be a quest that takes a dedicated team. getting Divinity was a pain, however ill take harder challenger = guarantee exotic vs easy = .5% chance each week. I'd be at around 40-48 looted runs but I took a few weeks off the grind because of how tedious this raid has become trying to get a single item.

1 返信You should keep farming, it's totally worth it, Vex is busted like hell on crucible killing you by stupid ranges, linear mode has no contest, you can put the whole lobby shooting at you, if you on linear mode you don't get flinched for. Sh*t. I'm enjoying because i know they will nerfed, The gun is busted like hell. 😂😂

3 通の返信This is what puts me off doing raids , I really do want the raid exotic’s but I don’t want them that bad that I have to do 50 raids plus just to get the weapons.

This was me in D1 running vog but I was after the vision of confluence. It simply took almost 30 runs to get it and in that time I got 3 vex and acquired every piece of vog gear and weapons. RNG is a -blam!- thing.

1 返信I finally got the Coupe de Grace ship last week after numerous tries. It's just bad rng. Got my Vex on my first completion though. Go figure.
