Yeah but how are you supposed to know they’re about to do that if they have to be within 2 feet of you before you can see they are about to do it?
That and shatterdive can be done within like a half second which when combined with the terrible netcode we have, causes it to be extremely difficult to get away from, even IF you know it’s coming in that case.

I would assume you could shotgun melee on a read. Though in general I feel like it's been a very long time since camping in your bubble has been effective. D2 feels like it has a ton of counter play to that specifically and instead you're meant to use the bubble as cover you dip in and out of or play around it.
