But in the last 2 years, I've never seen this kind of artificially controlled RNG being implemented in the game since it launched 7 years ago. Everything is controlled, squeezed, and even drip-fed to you now that all you do now is grind endlessly on a hamster wheel, while throwing money at the screen repeatedly over and over again. These are the 2 things that's most consistent in the game now. Grind the hamster wheel and throw money at screen. Then they also throw in the often recycled content here and there to add to the substanceless grind. If nothing changes, this will keep happening for the next 3 or more years. If you let them do this to you, they'll keep doing it to you.

Another bad thing is the drastic change in vender and world drop levels that used to help fill out the lower pieces of gear. Also the seasonal armor being removed from season pass. Bungie is hitting us every way they can to slow progression. At this rate I think was faster leveling 50 powerful levels and the 10 pinnacles when we actually had more rewards available.

I’ve gotten 5 heavy pinnacles myself. It doesn’t matter. The season is 6 months long. You’ve got time….

Totally agree. Repeatedly having pinnacles drop on the same slot makes me want to play less. Not more.

Try 2 months with no heavy pinnacle drop. Held my power level back for ages last season

iv been absolutely kicked squarely in the sack by this god awful RNG this week I had to dip into last seasons season pass to get a 1321 helmet and kinetic weapon after exhausting all but a few pinnacles and powerful. and that's nothing compared to a team mate he had 8 pairs of legs drop both pinnacle and powerful drops. i say longer season so RNG tweaks to F us up and slow us down levelling.

Yeah the pinnacle RNG sucks. The only solace I can offer is that you have roughly twice as much time to get to pinnacle cap this season as any other. So even with bad RNG you'll likely get it.
