Crossplay is a flop.
I've been playing all day, crossplay was off up until a couple hours ago, no issues whatsoever until then. I've seen more people just punching for no reason, then I'm disconnected suddenly... More people bagging and no rez, just overall so many server issues and toxicity. I guess crossplay is staying off.

Ive a console myself (but not for destiny! )Console players in Destiny are for sure the younger generations in most cases. Tbh i prefer like it was before finding a decent grp for a ez gm is a pain today. And the worst is the LFG in the bungie App and the blame goes to Bungie not to any palyers on any plattform ;D

3 通の返信This is the D2 community bud. It's not cross play. D2 community have become toxic AF. In D1 there were toxic players but there were a very few. Up until a year ago there were not that many toxic players however now, majority of the community is as toxic as it gets. Cross play is not to be blamed, humanity is to be blamed...

Odd. I have had zero issues playing with Xbox friends and had a Stadia player join an LFG I made. No issues there either. Sucks u had issues. I would say crossplay has been surprisingly smooth considering some seasonal releases break the game anyway and adding crossplay seems like it would have made it that much worse.

It’s been fine in PvE, just wish voice chat actually worked. In pvp it’s been a nightmare. CBMM +2.1x the player pool should’ve stayed the same, but it’s just gotten so much sweatier. It’s worse than the start of any season recently. I don’t know if it’s just me, but every game is constant sweats. I’ve run across a couple of different annoying bots and such, but nothing new just different types. Gambit surprisingly has stayed the same, but every match in there was sweaty to begin with tbh.

1 返信I haven't noticed any difference in levels of toxicity. I think its nice to have more people in Matchmaking, that is a huge plus. I must say though LFG with cross play is horrid, mostly for Raids. PSN has whatever they have, XBL has party chat, PC has discord (vastly superior) and can have party chat. If only Microsoft and/or Sony partnered up with Discord. Yes I know there is in-game chat, but be honest how well does it work/audio quality. Ffs, even text chat doesn't even work on a normal day.

Bringing everyone together regardless of platform is an incredible feat for Bungie and I fully support it! It's been working perfectly for me and a friend on Tuesday and Wednesday, No lag nor connection issues... The only problem is that in-game voice chat isn't working as of yet so we have to use other means to communicate at the moment.
