Fighting Lion over nerfed and unusable in all modes
I have mained fighting lion since when it first came out in destiny 2 but sadly bungie has decided to not just nerf blast radius but also destroy the reload speed of this weapon. I now fail to see any use for this weapon in either pvp or pve. Please fix this bungie.

2 通の返信Sturm with no Drangにより編集済み: 8/27/2021 2:17:17 PMThough I do have a gripe over how they have removed blast radius and its blinding capability over the years, it is still in fact usable across a good number of game modes, just not viable for endgame with Champions like GMs and the like. Fighting Lion can still 1-shot red bar enemies even in the Astral Alignment activity. It can still take down an enemy Guardian’s shield and leave them open to a follow up 1-2 tap with a hc. Its whole exotic gimmick is that it is a gl that uses primary. It needed to be tuned down to not see rampant abuse in Crucible and if it is overdone Bungie will look at how to properly tune it back up once they get enough feedback from players. 8 通の返信Fighting Lion is a Combo Gun... it's not used as a Main Gun you should run all the Time... it's used in a Switch combination... like if you would use CRYOSTHESIA 77K (Freeze someone and kill him with a Nade/ Snipe or Shotgun)... you Shoot someone with Lion, proc it's perk, switch to your Kinetic or heavy clean up the weakend enemys that got hit by Lion and switch back to Lion and Boom... if you killed someone that got hit by Lion the mag of lion will be magicaly NOT EMPTY... This is the Way Fighting Lion is intended to be used... addapt to it or leave Lion in your Collections... either way it's your choice what you do in the end with Fighting Lion

4 通の返信“Um yeah. We’re going to need you to move your desk down to the basement.” Fighting lion finds itself next to every other gun left behind after a meta change. It had its glory. You had years to abuse this one. Think of poor tarrabah. That gun has underwhelmed since it launched.

I don’t understand why people defend this change Is there another gun that punishes you for missing a shot ? Is there another gun that punishes you for shooting a single target ? Bungie killed this gun for PvP purposes only Same reason they killed special and heavy ammo economy Same reason we got infinite primary ammo They want to enhance PvP at the expense of PvE

I tried out Fighting Lion’s reload and with the Catalyst, it’s about the same speed or faster than Witherhoard’s Reload and i can’t imagine without it. Fighting Lion do become faster when you hit multiple enemies but i do feel like it’s Catalyst is mandatory now.

17 通の返信You clearly weren’t using the weapon correctly if you are this upset about a reload speed nerf. The whole weapon is based around [u]not[/u] reloading.
