30 通の返信Thanks. Hope they improve the mode. Team has been working hard on it, and we're excited to see how things land.

28 通の返信Everything sounded great except for the addition of SBMM, which ironically may kill Trials for good despite all the other great changes. This completely undermines everything about Trials. What a disappointment.

3 通の返信SBMM will probably cause people to throw matches for easier flawless cards… Everything else sound good though.

47 通の返信Nah. It looks awful. From a PvP players perspective it's been watered down to support the PvE player base. At least 4 weeks of the season we no PvP end game. Iron banner is awful. The worst case of P2P. Bungie trying to tells us to play new stuff for the first two weeks of the season. What new stuff? It's all recycled content. Then we have what amounts to skill based match making in Trials. Where once you have been flawless you pretty much play the best players over and over.

7 通の返信Eh, I stay away from trials but I disagree, trials is meant to be endgame pvp, it's essentially just competitive elimination now

12 通の返信Not going to change anything. There’s still only going to be 15k players worldwide. Nobody cares.

They can tweak all they want, but it still doesn't change the fact that Bungle still uses Halo Era 2008ish Peer to Peer Networking and then matches me with anyone playing on the planet. I had no idea that people with Japanese, Chinese and Spanish gamer tags on Xbox were within Alberta Canada's "local" peer to peer network for Crucible and Gambit. If they want to call this competitive, then put on their Big Boy Developer pants and get Regional Dedicated Host Servers. But that costs time and money, and Bungle is completely focused on minimal effort and maximum revenue as they milk the Destiny Cow dry while putting all their resources into other game development.

4 通の返信I loved all the changes until I saw sbmm. That will make going flawless so lame. It’ll be just as difficult for a bad player to go flawless as a good player and that makes going flawless meaningless. RIP trials.

1 返信LoL I can’t wait for the first weeks Usage report. it’s definitely going to be 40-50% Revenant Usage.
-
20 通の返信My only concern is the skill matching. If it is really strict, that would essentially result in an approximate 50% win rate for every team, casual or sweaty, meaning almost nobody goes flawless anymore excpet the 3 people who are so good SBMM can't make a bracket for them. But hey. If it is loose SBMM or mostly just outlier protection, we may be in a good spot. Other than that, I'm very excited for Trials.

1 返信Trials rumble next. In rumble rarely make the top 3 and sometimes get zero kills, but it's the only game mode I currently enjoy. My only complaint is that if they are going to put an amazing player that can 20 kills in 4 minutes give me rewards despite my zero kills. I'm often trying new weapons or just not flowing yet.

59 通の返信A lot of players under the impression that solo trials is all they need to "wreck" in trials are in for a rude awakening. Just like solo comp. This is barely going to change anything. Solo Matchmaking can only take someone so far lol People will be back here saying their teammates are leaving in trials, connections are poor, everyone is sweaty blah blah within two days.

2 通の返信I came here searching for negativity but found positivity. Am I in the wrong place? This can’t be the Destiny 2 forums.

2 通の返信TacticalDucky69により編集済み: 8/26/2021 4:10:33 PMThe way they do loot looks appealing but I’m a little worried that Bungie might try to go for matches with a 50/50 win rate (SBMM and lobby balancing) and if that’s the case then no one but the best of the best will go flawless. The best we can hope for is a very light version of SBMM initially and then pure connection / card based for after you go flawless that week

1 返信The changes for Trials are great, but the priority for fixing Crucible is completely wrong. Bungie should have focused on many other improvements the other match types need. It is pointless to encourage players of all levels into the most difficult Crucible match type when other types still have the same issues, such as team balancing.
