Did bungie just lock Gali behind a pay wall

Well yeah. Bungie is about the money. I’ve bought the three Marathon games, Halo 1-5 and D1 and D2 plus expansions. The anniversary would be a great way to reward customer loyalty, but all Bungle can see is $$$$. My gift to them is going free to play.

14 通の返信The funniest things here are all the people not realizing that they are paying over half the price of an annual DLC for D1 content and being fine with bungie celebrating 30 years of loyalty by dangling the franchise's most iconic weapon behind this paywall instead of making it for free. Is Eververse not selling enough for them to afford something like this?

1 返信Sure did! It's kind of funny that gear that drops on say, the MOON, looks awful, but the new gear that is in the season pass, looks much much better, and all the stuff F2P gets is reused assets from older content. One word! LAZY AS F***

3 通の返信Most of the exotics are locked behind “pay” . How it’s been since d1 . You either pony up for the dlc to get that shiny new exotic or you sit and miss out. Seasonal exotics are the same . Deal with it and quite whining ..

8 通の返信yea but do you know who you're trying to tell this to ? One of the most complacent communities I have ever seen in gaming. I promise they'd be happy to pay and would absolutely LOVE to be scammed again. Nothing could make them happier.

19 通の返信That's what I call desperation. Pure desperation of a dying game. It's pitiful. I knew something was wrong when they blew up our vault in D1 just to find out they are slowly bringing in D1 exotics back into D2. I knew that didn't feel right. Although they didn't charge us then for bringing old D1 exotics back into D2, it still didn't feel right. And now this? It's an all time low for them to do this. Complete and utter desperation. I'm embarrassed. I'm the one embarrassed for them. I really think highly of them during the Halo days. Boy, what a 180 turn this turned out to be. I'm embarrassed now to say I've played this game for over 6 years. It is substanceless. Glad I'm out of this and any of their future projects. Never again will I touch any of their future work. Embarrassing. Yeah, I completely believe it now, there is no goodwill here. Just greed. Embarrassing.

Technically, a lot of Exotics are locked behind paywalls. So this isn’t anything new. Except the Gjallarhorn paywall seems a lot less essential ( and important ) than all the other Destiny DLC’s, Seasons, and Expansions.

3 通の返信...almost EVERY exotic is paywalled one way or another isn't it though? don't u need the season to get the seasonal exotic? and expansions to get the exotics in those?
