It’s on tigerspite. Why would I want hipfire grip on an auto rifle? It’s on several other weapons that it shouldn’t be on.

This I agree is a problem, especially on a scout/sniper. [spoiler] But can I please get a Trench Barrel Sniper, just for silliness, hit someone with a smoke bomb and follow up with a one shot kill.[/spoiler]

7 通の返信I cringe every time I see this perk on a sniper or scout. Seriously it is counterproductive to have this mod on a weapon that is meant to be fired while aiming down the sights. I would love to see Bungie take a long and hard look at the perk pool and actually make each class of weapon have a set number perks that is only available for that given weapon. Case in point - hipfire should only be on shotguns (non-slug) and hand cannons (140 or 180) and maybe on fusion rifles. Slideshot is another perk that has no business being as many weapon types as it is currently. The perk is meant for CQC type engagements, so why would a scout, sniper, pulse or auto have this in their respective perk pools.

4 通の返信It should only be on shotguns, sidearms,smgs, I think off the top of my head. Never ever on a scout or sniper lol.

Purpose is to give you something you can shard without thinking too hard. Like, for instance, 49 stat armor. Seems like there’s a whole tier of badly rolled stuff that serves this purpose (including blues). Remember ‘rarity’ my friends?

It’s on several other weapons that it shouldn’t be on.[/quote] While it might be worth it on certain weapons, I totally sympathise about tigerspite, it's been on the last 4 rolls and it's not like the dreaming city is a quick grind especially when every 4 out of 5 drops are armour.
