They hit at close and long ranges. They hit AoE.
Very easy to clean with. Often can roll with disruption.
Open your eyes bungo.
Where’s the opportunity cost?

2 通の返信Let me say this. Grenade Launchers don't have bullet bending. They are the projectile as you fire them. It is the most legitimate aim you will ever get in Destiny. Anyone who has played against a Cracked Demoman in TF2 or Junkrat in Overwatch can corroborate. For this reason alone they could be considered the most aim intensive weapon, second to none. (Your bullets bending to hit your target is not your aim, its the gun doing it for you. By these words does my point become self evident: Spare Rations Meta.) Hitting you at close/point blank ranges is asking to die. Anyone who has been jumped by a sneaky thrall in PvE can tell you that first hand. Travel time is also what makes long range kills crazy inconsistent. If someone gets outsniped with a grenade launcher when using a sniper, they might as well Alt-F4 for the day and go play some Minecraft. Because that is some Call of Duty levels of "getting s*** on". GL's combines the ability to kill at long and close ranges of snipers and shotguns yes. However, it has more volatile downsides. Such as waiting for their grenade to travel, United Airlines is janky, and what could be considered Spontaneous Combustion. Snipers might as well be hitscan 'cuz they feel instant. Shotguns don't explode in your hands and send your corpse to the moon when you land shots. As stated before GL's have travel time. Except it is substantially slower than regular guns. You notice it immediately when firing the weapons. Because this is so, the result, meaning damage, is delayed as well. If the result is delayed, that means it is less reliable. Less consistent. This means you have to work more for the kill compared to other special weapons. If you have to work more for a kill with something, it definitely isn't a "no skill" weapon. The only logical conclusion out of it is that it requires more skill than the other special weapons. Because it requires more effort. On the topic of aoe, if someone specializes their roll to fill a niche, of course it will feel strong and in the right hands, oppressive in some instances. This is the case with every weapon ever to be made except a pretty small handful of archetypes. But that is the beauty in random rolls. It also isn't news, thats one of the core aspects of Destiny. (Also note that most GL perks that opt for Blast Radius reduce projectile speed. So since the projectile is slower, you have even more time to react. Every roll has its downsides.) Proximity grenades don't even oneshot anymore unless you're under light in IB or ToO or have like 0-2 resilience I think. At that point its on you for not foreseeing damage breakpoints and considering heightening your healthpool. On the contrary to Proximity Grenades, there is Direct Hits. If someone Direct hits you with a nade launcher, they more than deserve that kill. It doesn't aim for them like snipers do, so they aimed it entirely on their own. Reload speed, by god are GL's slow to reload. The perks that optimize for better reload speed impact stability or blast radius, so you can't really be aoe spammed by a max stability or reload roll. They have to aim more or direct hit. Related to stability, they're a whole lot easier to flinch with low stability stats. Which is more opportunity for you to actively do something. (Also like no one runs unflinching GL unless they're a Fighting Lion main. But those guys are even more of a Unicorn than Unircorns are.) The only slight advantage GL's have is the ability to almost always ricochet. But to ricochet consistently, you must first, know and master your projectile speed & blast radius. Have a mental image of where it will bounce that is pieced together with map knowledge and the skills honed with your GL. Then finally, predict your opponent's movement with game sense. Normal guns can do this too if you have ricochet rounds, but the ceiling is lower for sure. It's more of a training wheels mode because you typically have more ammo allowing you to spam to find where they're at. Unless of course its a sniper. There is one thing that I absolutely understand, and empathize with. That being special weapon spammers. Believe me, Yesterday I ran into some dude who had a perk for perk perfect slide ape roll. ( rifled barrel + accurized + slideways + iron reach+ Range MW. He was a striker titan too so he was legit the stereotype.) His Riiswalker had 1k+ kills and his primary only 160. And lets not be Cognitively Biased against any one special weapon, because they're all used, and all spammed. (On the topic of Cognitive Bias, here is a really insightful video to watch about it. I put it in the link section.) Spawning with 2 special shots every life is definitely ridiculous, and then there exists Scavenger perks. <- These right here being the root cause for many special weapon issues we have right now anyways.
I wholeheartedly believe if special ammo was fought over in boxes like in Destiny 1, a lot of the issues would be solved without having to nerf special weapons. OR they could just make it so you don't drop your special ammo when you die (Indirectly Nerfing Scavenger Perks in the Crucible.), allowing people to still spawn with it (Still giving people a fighting chance off of respawn), and still add the boxes to the maps. This puts people who go on streaks at the disadvantage of running out of special ammo. But you won't be heavily punished just for dying once. The boxes could also be put in areas where the player footprint heatmaps show the least activity, making ALL of the map get used.
Now not only that, but Quick Access Sling is a mod that should just be removed. As cool and flashy as hotswap builds are, their time to kill is often less than a FULLY SPUN UP SUROS REGIME. Which is legitimately game breaking. And there are people who master these things and it is less fun to play against them than a controller player with Hardlight during Season of the Worthy. (Including the hotswap glitch, patch it out too. If you were scummy enough, you could set up a hotswap macro to abuse this glitch to get an even shorter ttk. I heard some people make them for double slug dps for PvE but its a real abusable possibility in PvP.)

1 返信LOL. Oh, the butt hurt PvP guys are always good for a laugh. It must be a coincidence that every gun that kills them is a "no skill" weapon

5 通の返信Since when did it become acceptable to tell the guy who's trying to kill you, how you want to be killed?.. If you're dying to something that takes 'no skill'.. whats that say about you?

3 通の返信A “no skill weapon” is subjective. Jotuun is a no skill weapon but lots of people use it. Sounds like someone showed you how it’s done with a GL. Shake it off and win the next round.

7 通の返信Neither are shotguns. Sliding shotgun apes just Easley one hit kill or melee you to death in a blink of an eye you can do nothing about… Fusion rifles are bullshit also! They can practically one bang you even in your super! Pre charging around the corners, your a real [REDACTED] something as cheesy as a fusion. Ffing overpowered. Don’t even get me started on snipers! Things are aim assisted trough the roof! They’ll ‘magically’ hit you in the head even trough flinch! High call rounds heavy automatic fire, it doesn’t matter, they will still one-hit bang you like you didn’t even try!
wait… ehm.. what’s left that i didn’t 💩 on today?… hmm 🤔
Looks like you run hc/shotgun and your calling gl’s “no skill”! If you think gl’s need a nerf than they sure s**t need to give hc’s and shotguns another nerf. Not everyone plays meta weapons. I only play pulse, scout/ sidearm, fusion and without gl’s players like me would have zero chance countering hc’s in comp because 140’s took the place of 120’s and are far more superior to pulses and scouts. I mean dude, your using hc’s that out range scouts and pulses and have a huge hitbox for crits. You can’t call nerf to every weapon that counters your dumb hc’s.

6 通の返信It's literally one of the only weapon types that can counter this garbage hc/sg meta that's been around. The one you appear to be taking advantage of on your hunter.
