I mean, I started it on one character and couldn't make myself care enough to bother getting through the blue set. I rarely even see anyone wearing the Solstice armor this year.
Hopefully it's a complete failure this year, because this stale event cycle needs to change. Feels like it was created by someone just half-assed cobbling together the bare minimum.

2 通の返信Completed enough to get legendary set, used some of my 24,000 bright dust (gathering dust) to buy both sets of the ornaments for my titan, called it good. Unlikely that if I continue upgrading it will be anywhere close, stat wise, to the best rolled armor I already have. Not worth the time. Ready for something new during solstice.

I did two characters but out of sheer boredom tbh. The armor has terrible stats and I'm not buying armor glows. So kind of a waste of time. I liked that the grind wasn't AS BAD as prior years, but it's still too much imo. It should really only take two waves of objectives, not 3. That first character takes way too long for my tastes. Also requiring end game like dungeon, trials, raids seemed a little ridiculous to me even though I do some of that content anyway. It's off putting to do your weekly raida then have to go do another to check a fn box on the armor. Idk Solstice sux rly imo. This event should never return. We need something different, but Destiny is BUILT on recycled "content."

1 返信Nope ! Couldn’t even bring myself to do the EDZ once . Events in D2 have lost the their magic and appeal .

2 通の返信I’ve barely played this season. I’ve stepped away to enjoy Apex for a season or two

If you were expecting an event like Solstice of Heroes to break the mold and become something new and exceptional, you set your expectations way too high. Events like Solstice, Moments of Triumph, Guardian Games, etc serve solely to break up the general monotony of the game mid-season. It's no different to how Iron Banner comes once a month and gives PVP players another avenue to play, it isn't revolutionary, it breaks up the monotony. This year I actually thought the grind was very reasonable and the rewards from packages are half-decent, making it somewhat worth grinding for the shotgun and high stat armor alone.

2 通の返信I did all three chara terms in 3 days. It's notuch of a grind compared to last years

Astrosaにより編集済み: 7/26/2021 9:46:34 PMYep competed it on all characters With very little effort. After first character you get double then triple progress. Ability kills and orbs can all be done in last wish at thrall lady. Activity things were kinda boring but easy Pvp is also easy what was it 30 kills, then for second and third character 15 and 10

2 通の返信I made them all Legendary because this year was, by far, the easiest year to do so. Bought the glow set for my Warlock with Bright Dust because...duh, not gonna spend anything else on it. I do like the look of them so I got my Titan kitted out with a transmogged set. Will do the same for my Hunter, eventually, but not in a hurry. That's it. Haven't even played it since I got the set turned into ornaments for my Titan.

1 返信Well, I completed it on one character but I'm not sure if I have the willpower to do it on my other characters.
-
Nah I gave up after I made it legendary, then I got the ornament for that legendary through transmorph lol. I already have god rolled armor, why bother grinding for the solstice one when the stats may or may not be garbage?

Everything I could solo. Raid missing but I don't give a **** anymore. This game is sll about feeding on the lowest emotions of players: envy, greed, fear of missing out, pride. It's not a surprise I don't play as much and rather do something else these days. You know, in real life.
