Bungie can you please explain the point of taking away points for losses when matchmaking causes you to lose 5 games to every 1 win. Sometimes 10-15 loses in a row with zero wins. Matchmaking is beyond broken for solo comp. players who are literally zero rank to zero experience matched against Legend Ranks, Unbrokens and Flawless players every single game. Solo Comp is so rigged that if my team is winning a teammate gets booted from the game every single time we’re winning, every time! I could get 20+ kills a game and have a 5.0 I’d and we will still lose the game. I literally will not be able to hit Legend rank and there’s literally nothing I can do about it. Bungie, once you hit a new rank whether it’s Fabled2, Mythic 1, Mythic 3 stop dropping ranks!!! Let players keep the next rank and not allow them to drop below for losses. That is the most fair thing to do for the PvP players since matchmaking is broken and somehow players getting booted from games every other match.

Get heavy ammo and use Heir Apparent. Hide until tie breaker, sit on the tie breaker with your shield active. I single handedly won a few rounds doing that where I was the last one alive on my team. I think once it was a 1v1 and another time 2v1. Unless they have a good super, you should probably win. One person even tried to tether me and still lost. I mean you aren't going to win every time, but at least it gives you a better chance of pulling off a win in situations where you would most likely lose without doing that.

once you hit around 3900 - 4000 you pretty much have to be able to carry teammates even vs two very good players. Because you can't rely on your teammates. If they play well then bonus but it's not reliable.

2 通の返信I only play solo comp and highly prefer it to going up against stacks. It’s a bit of a coin flip in regards to your teammates, but it is called Competitive for a reason. You need to put on your big boy pants and land your shots if you want to win.

Its the crappy matchmaking. Its isn't sbmm at all you just match based on elo which means if a team have a brave or below on it than you can get a brave and below. Completely breaks the rank structure entirely. Its better to get a team and do it solo right now is horrendous. Was mythic 1 this week back to fabled 2. With the way it is you're either a forever fabled or never moved at all. This is not comp at all. Trials is more competitive than this crap.

I've played since the very beginning of Destiny 1. Destiny 1 was by no means a perfect game or anything, but at least in my experience, pvp was fun, despite some pretty op metas such as that of the TLW and Thorn. However, I never had the feeling of a game being unfair. In Density 2, ever since Beyond Light, the pvp has become such a shitshow that I honestly stopped really giving two shits about it. Quite sad, considering that I am primarily a pvp player, though I do do all the high end pve content. The game itself, is quite dog these days, hence why I barely get on, if at all. Been playing and enjoying other games, and as for the pvp side of things, can't wait for Halo Infinite.

I won't speculate on why it's so utterly broken specifically, or the knucklehead crews will jump in like predictable clowns with their theories, down votes, & argumentative posturing over CBMM being better than SBMM, and their craptastic "git gud" bullsh!t. Basically, I think the lobby balancing is such a$$ now simply because Bungle haven't any real care or concern for maintaining this game beyond the bare minimum. Any objective minded person should be clear on that fact by this point, because it's blindingly obvious just by looking at all the other broken parts of this game that could so easily be fixed. Either it is true that their ancient engine & code is so bloated and buggy they simply can't change anything for fear of breaking something else, or these Bungo dudes are just phoning it in, and have been for a hella long time.

All what they need to do is: 1. Quick play - connection based matchmaking with every game mode available at any time and freelance option for every game mode. 2. Competitive - skill based matchmaking with strict connection quality checking (if your internet speed fall after game starts you will be suspended from next match for next 30 minutes) and freelance mode were every player will have personal rival with same skill level and connection quality. It's easy.

Back in the day grinding for luna was a joke. I took me over a year. I had it 1 week before they made it a 150 rpm. Was almost pulling my hair out I swear. Playlist is extremely stale, unforgiven and complete rng if you are an average solo player in there.

If winning is your primary concern, wouldn't making a team and joining regular matchmaking give you the best odds? depending on randoms will always be a toss up, you choose to take part in what knowingly is a lesser chance of success.

1 返信The main problem you’re having is probably just the game struggling to find people in the playlist in general. The playlist is stretched so thin due to lack of incentives that it’ll be almost impossible to find a decent match, solo or regular. I’m Diamond I for survival with a 1.3 K/D. Going in with a Gold and a Silver player, both with negative K/Ds, we went against 3 Diamond 3s who were just throwing us around the whole game. I tried to finally start my 3 Legend seasons to get the Unbroken seal, but after getting so close (Mythic III in only one week, thanks glory boost), I couldn’t mentally take the loses, especially when it’s due to one player constantly wasting lives.

3 通の返信Yeah something just doesn’t feel right with the matchmaking in Freelance Comp. For example, I won about 3 games in a row this morning. I only needed two more wins to get to Fabled 3, so I thought, “Eh, why not.” Jump in, and my team immediately gets destroyed, 1-4. Wiped my tears away and tried again: Got the same result the next match. This happens OFTEN. As soon as I start frequently winning games in comp, whether or not I do well, I start getting matched against VERY good players, and my teammates are usually not very good. They either don’t stick together, STAYING in the open where there is literally no cover, or they stay WAY too close, pushing me out of cover, jumping in front of me when I fire a rocket 🤦🏻♂️ ........ walking in front of me when I’m sniping, the list goes on. I now try to stay away from my teammates to make sure I don’t get pushed out of cover or to make sure I have an escape route that’s not blocked by teammates. I’m beginning to think that comp is trying to keep players at a certain win-loss ratio. I have no other explanation for it. I literally start getting scared about going back into Comp if I get more than 2 wins in a row now. Feels bad.
