Destiny is a grind game. plain and simple.[/quote]
So is Diablo 3 and Borderlands 3 and yet it’s accessible to everyone. Not locked away from Content cause they aren’t the “Recommended Power”. I’m all for grinding the End Game Content, but Leveling should not be where the grind should be at. Give me this Quantity of End Game Content with the Raids, Master Nightfalls, Master Raids etc. with the Leveling System as Vanilla D2 where I can reach Max Power within a Day to a couple days, and I’ll be the happiest Destiny Player in this Community. That’s my take on this subject.
Leveling should only be a passive thing that just happens when you do your favorite activities, leveling shouldn’t be something you have to think about. Diablo 3 and Borderlands 3 for example. In Diablo 3, I can do Rifts all the live long day and still level up without even thinking about it. I can do all the Bounties all the live long day and still level up without even thinking about it and level up along the way doing those bounties via killing enemies along the way etc.
Diablo 3 seems way more accessible then Destiny is and that’s just sad. Like it’s been said 100 times. Leveling. Is. NOT Content. plain and simple. And it should not be treated like it’s content like it currently is.
leveling to max level in a day or 2 is the wrong way to go. esspecially in a grind game. take a look at Black Desert, the majority can hit level 50, but anything after that REQUIRES consistant grind. that takes longer then 1-2 days. Bungie is following the same path. 1290 is base level that 100% hit, 1300 is what 90% will hit. and last, 1320 is meant for people who GRIND, which 50-60% will hit. that's good. its okay to not hit max level. there needs to be a Reward/ Experience/ Content that Max players can do, as thats their Reward for investing more of their time then the Majority. its not "Elite", its the more you put in, the more you receive.
its like if i put in 1,000$ to JK company, and another person put in 100$. who should get the most in Return? the answer is me, as i put in more money so i should receive more money in return. same thing with time investment, as if i put in lets say 6 hours a day, and you 2 hours a day, who would reach max level first? most likely i would as im investing more of my time, so i should be able to do content that the Majority dosnt get to do, s thats my Reward. understand?

Yeah, and not many people play Black Desert because of it. Levels should never be apart of the grind in any game cause it causes burnout and cause people to leave the game and burn out should be the last thing Bungie should want for their player base. If I was in charge of a Grind Game, preventing burnout would be top priority, and slowing down leveling to keep people out of the content I want them to play like Raids and Nightfalls, I’d sure as hell would make getting to the Max Level as fast as possible. Will people blow through the content in one sitting? Some may (Hardcores already do) but some won’t cause Casuals take their time to enjoy the game and not blow through it in one day not be some Hardcore blowing through the content just to make guides for their stream to make themselves money.
Using their Leveling System as a means to stretch out the content is a failed experiment. If Bungie wants to stretch out the Content, here is how you do it. You Time Gate things. For example. Week One: it’s all Campaign and Nightfalls. Week Two: Raids, and Master Nightfalls. Week Three: the Seasonal Activity. Diablo 3 is a Casual Game, Borderlands 3 is a Casual Game yet it works and why it works is because Blizzard avoids burning out their Player Base with Level Grind and Soft Caps and Hard Caps etc. and I bet you Diablo 3 has a larger player count then Bungie does with Destiny.
Like I said, Leveling should be something that is a passive thing by doing the activities you enjoy not be bottle necked into Game Modes that I don’t wanna play just for a CHANCE to get the Boots I need to level up. That’s a bad system. One week when I playing Destiny, I literally went THREE WEEK with only needing a Helmet to level up and I got NOTHING for THREE WEEKS!! And I was burnt out and quit. Leveling being tied to Gear and RNG, is a terrible system. Bungie needs to realize this and so do you.
