Terms of service are there in compliance to follow and abide by the rules implemented and when people agree to those terms by following them they are not there for the companies health they are soul purpose of committing to them in the highest regards just like law agreements and once you break them there will be penalties like lawsuits and bans that follow it all becomes law-abiding contracts hence once you agree to the terms of service you are signing a contract.
