No more fun in the game.
What has happened to Destiny. Over the past two weeks have not got any drops that I don't already have. Everything has just got too long and too hard. From nightfall to strikes to bounties. Cannot get any teams on the app to complete anything. So many people have left the app and the clans. Have not budged in three weeks trying to complete pinnacle. It's totally frustrating. When I do get a drop it's the exact same as what I have.
Not fun anymore

The only thing that is genuinely fun for me anymore is Presage, and I’m trying to take that easy because I know that’ll get old quick too. If you don’t raid, sooner or later the game just plateaus. Usually sooner.

1 返信I’m sure a lot of people have said the same thing but taking a break from time to time really helps with burnout issues. I took a break from the start of season of the chosen and came back a month later and it really helped. The only thing that sucks is fomo which I really wish wasn’t an issue

Agree with you but my issue with the game is that I find its more cheap then actually difficult like the end game enemy's always feel like they exploit too much almost breaking the immersion of the game snipers that rapid fire maximum damage and grenade spaming and splash damage and area effect and enemy's teleporting everywhere or spawning badly just gets stupid tbh and the physics drive you up the wall aswell forgive the pun getting killed by bad physics just isn't fun I like destiny but wish it didn't have to use such cheap enemy's

1 返信I love when people say it's so hard now. 1. Strikes are stupid easy, nightfalls not far behind. 2. Leveling is easier than ever before. 3. Leveling means absolutely nothing other than Grand masters and maybe trials, Clearly if strikes are to hard then those modes don't count for you. 4 . You could not have raised your level 1 point from 2 seasons ago and still play everything, other than a few endgame . You can run the raid . 5 . If you think the game is so hard don't play. Also finding lfg teams is pretty dam easy.

1 返信I went 58 nightfalls without a weapon drop when hung jury first appeared. 58 and then I got 1 and only 1 so far. 1 uzume in 43 runs and 1 plug.1 in 20 runs respectively. I feel ya on the grind part

My clans been getting a lot of new members and my discord servers just picked up a few first time raiders. Corrupted version drops are too much RNG for 3 times a week to my tastes, but with engram focusing I've found that I like the new adrenaline junky perks on special weapons and built a new discipline armor loadout to compliment.

Answers simple. Destiny 2 has gone the way of warframe. A dev focused on churning out content in bits and wasting money/resources on new stuff as opposed to overhauling the game and pumping out larger content over time. For context I stuck with destiny 1 during the content droughts. But these seasons are filled with so many time gates and for so little that your legitimately better off waiting till seasons near over to finish it.

This is what I think happened. - Activision left, after that game may be lacking in some financing and manpower resources. - Some aspects of the game became free-to-play. - They are busy making other newer things in their line-up, further dividing existing manpower resources. - As a result, maybe newer ideas are being channeled to their newer games rather than adding into this older game. - They complain about making new content being difficult to make, when it is obvious being a game developer that their sole job is to make game content. - Lately, Eververse seems to be the priority in monetizing game content instead of the existing free one that's already been out for years now. - Their solution to this is recycle old D2 and older D1 content and passing it as content. I know what you are going to say, it's lazy. I know you are going to say that. - Because they are losing touch of the game, their solution is to extend the grind by any means, including bad RNG algorithms that keeps you grinding for the same loot drops over and over again. - For some reason, some gamers who live off the game like all these things above. That's why they keep making this game feel like this, over and over, dlcs after dlcs, content drops after content drops. Game has been like this for several years now and it seems like it's not gonna change anytime soon. So far, that's just a short list of what I think happened to the game. Some gamers here may have some important stuff to add to this short list I've provided above. Maybe you have your own observation that you could add to all of this.

Yes I hear you. The game has become so stale it's getting hard to log in anymore. Rinse and repeat everytime I do and I get bored after about 15 mins. Just going through the paces really on the road to nowhere.
