Anyone got any interesting lore/story hunches?
No, I don’t mean theories with evidence to back them up (i.e. Osiris is secretly Savathûn). I’m referring to wild speculations with little/nothing supporting them.
Personally, I predict the deaths of Zavala and Ikora before Lightfall; resulting in either the end of the vanguard or Saint and Aunor taking their place.

She has him killed using the portable light trapping device utilized by the psions in the failed attempt to assassinate Zavala (either stealing it from the Vanguard armory or reverse engineering it) pinning the blame on Mythrax and the Fallen while playing up the fact that even Saint had started to soften to the plight of the Fallen (“And this is how they repaid his kindness!”). The citizens of the City lay waste to the Fallen encampment, turning a deaf ear to Zavala and Ikora who beg for calm as they no longer feel the Vanguard can be trusted to protect the City. Cue the return of the Farm as a Social Space for the Vanguard to regroup during Season 15. The main issue with this theory is that Saint-14 canonically gives our eulogy, so… [i]edit: Just realized that would mean the image of skull-faced Saint-14 during the cutscene a few weeks back also the works as foreshadowing… Cool.[/i] (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Calus will return as a kind of corrupted champion of the darkness, alongside Xivu Arath (the last Hive God supporting the Darkness) and potentially Eramis if she thaws out. The Vex may step back and let the Light v Dark war play out to ensure their own survival

Beginning the redemption of the Eliksni and cementing the Alliance between House Light and the Last City. Asher Mir, Sloan and Brother Vance are the three champions of darkness mentioned by the Nine. Each were on a world ripped from this universe by the Pyramids, and each represent an enemy faction that still serves the Darkness in some way. Asher is probably Vex somehow, Sloan is wearing an exosuit that used to belong to Savathun, and Brother Vance is hanging out with his Dark side, so if the Veil are a thing, he's probably gonna be with them.

1 返信BIRBにより編集済み: 6/21/2021 8:15:40 PMMy theory is that the true end of the universe in destiny will not end in darkness like Calus predicts, but rather the universe will stop expanding eventually and everything is going to collapse back down into a singularity (this is a real theory called the Big Crunch theory). Everything in the universe will die to the architect. That’s the true final antagonist force in destiny. The conflict between the light and the dark will end at the point that the universe stops expanding.

1 返信I think in lightfall the emissary will become a awoken again, not just a puppet of the nine, and will replace the exo stranger or Eris on the dark vanguard. I also think one of the members of the dark vangaurd will die, hopefuls not drifter because I am a drifter simp.

Aunor is a destiny karen, you don't want her as Vanguard. Believe me. The Vanguard should definitely be killed off and a Vanguard more suited to survive the current collapse we are in should take over: Drifter, Elizabeth, and Eris. I love Zavala and Lance Riddick but everyone bites it eventually. Witch Queen might kick off with Sav bodying them.
