A dark-haired person in a leather jacket walks into the fairgrounds. They look around in apparent wonder.
"Huh, a carnival. We... I haven't been to one in a long, long time."
They head toward the nearest booth.
At the main tent you find a polished dance floor has been set up beneath dozens of black chandeliers that hold flaming red candles. The music has changed to a more wild version of the carefree melody from before, still coming from everywhere around at once.
The candles burn brighter in pairs leading to one side of the room, and when they reach the end, a brilliant flash of fire erupts. When the light dims, a tall intimidating but attractive woman in a scarlet dress is standing alone, weaponless.
"You just couldn't give in and let the love and hate flow like blood, couldn't you!? No matter, I'll enjoy this instead."
She laughs and summons pillars of fire around the room to hit all of the heroes.
I still have to run Aria, so I apologize in advance if I get too busy to keep this going.
A young girl hops through the air, discs of light appearance beneath her feet as she skips through the skies of the City, darting her eyes every which way.
She stops in amazement as she sees the carnival.
“A carnival!? Omigosh, omigosh, I have to go!” Letting out a high pitched giggle, she hops jer way towards it, then stops. “Oh, but I’m supposed to be looking for those two, huh?” She lets out a sigh, and behins moping away in the other direction.
Then she stops again. “Then again, nothing says they couldn’t have gone to a carnival, and I really should be thorough in my search…”
She turne back towards the carnival with a literal sparkle in her eyes. “Yes! I should be very thorough! I should search all the rides, and all the games, and all the food stalls!”
She confidently pointed a staff tipped with a smiling sun towards the entrance. “Get ready, Crimson Carnival, because Sunshine Sparkle Butterfly Heart is heading your way!”
With that she dropped to the ground, and excitedly darted through the entrance, giggling all the way.
