Ghost is captured and we can only use dark subclasses throughout the whole campaign to get him back because their is something blocking his light.
We’d get our new dark subclass in the 2nd mission.
If you don’t have stasis or the Witch Queen subclass, than it will be like Red War, where the subclass will be missing from the character menu.
If you do have a dark subclass already, than just the light subclasses will disappear.
It will open up more opportunities to give the Young Wolf more lines, and some character development for both him and Ghost.

2 通の返信Even though it’s a working tittle. It’s spelt Lightfall and not Light Fall. Which could be important, and a Bungie play on words. Light Fall would imply that the light would be gone. As if the source of the light. The traveller, has fallen. Lightfall could be envisioned as a waterfall. A source of light falling down on us as if the traveller has finally woken and become a player in the battle against the darkness.

1 返信We aren't just Light now, heck if Ghaul would attack us NOW we'd be fine , we've been evolving past the traveler , an that's the point. It's like our parent. We're seeing the world for what it is , Grey. It's not just light an dark , one doesn't make you evil or good. I personally feel that the Traveler will take *one more for the team* and shock an awe, we still use Light an Dark .

1 返信I can just see it. We'll remove all your light subclasses and if you pay £60.00 we'll let you regrind them all back. And you'll have to do it all on all three characters and we'll call it "new content."

This got me thinking a bit. If I remember correctly, Eramis destroyed our Splinter of Darkness and froze our Ghost during the final mission of Beyond Light. However, we channeled the Darkness within us in order to wield Stasis without a Splinter and defeated her. We got another splinter from the Exo Stranger afterwards so I think it's the only time we ever used Stasis without a Splinter. Perhaps we will learn to do this with the Light as well. The Exo Stranger explained that Darkness resides within us and that inside all of us is the strength to control it. We already know that the Light lives in all places and all things from the Speaker, meaning that it also resides within us. So maybe at some point we'll learn to channel the Light in a similar way to how we channeled the Darkness to defeat Eramis.

1 返信Lightfall isn't gonna be about us losing powers, it's gonna be about the end of the war between light and dark. That's why we are talking about a civil war in the last city between the darkness (that being whatever), so lightfall may be the end of the dark vs light era, and Bungie might move on with a new story arc.

I remember reading a lore tab(or something)that touched on the subject of-if every guardian would trade in their “powers” for peace, how many would actually go through with it and make that trade. I wouldn’t mind a ending like that. Losing our powers permanently, but everything ending up alright in the end. Reminds me of FMAB ending, when Edward traded his ability to use alchemy.

5 通の返信<We've already done a Lightless storyline and it wasn't done well. I'd rather have our Light freed than removed. Just kill the Traveler, let that be the Light that falls.>

1 返信Lightfall =/= Bannerfall Maybe it is another faction battleground to determine who controls the last city? And, perhaps, a new Crucible map?
