Given that there are many problems where the game has, I do think that bungie should dedicate a season to fix those issues. Those issues primarily come from playlists activities and more.
1)Strikes
Strikes are kinda bare boned as it is more of just complete the mission and get rewards. But the rewards don’t feel very rewarding and some of the strikes are a pain in the ass to do.
a) Rework some of the strikes that people dread doing. It is a pain just to go through a strike that has way too many complicated mechanics or just annoying aspects of the strike. YES I am looking corrupted and exodus crash.
b)Adjust the rewards so that they feel rewarding basically increasing the drop rates of strike weapons and probably add a system to target farm them.
2)PvP
The crucible isn’t a well placed spot now with the current matchmaking and rewards. I mean why do I get stacks, glided flawless and unbroken players when I am just only a casual. Also it is hard to learn how to use something new. e.g learning how to snipe or using a different class.
a)Allow players to customise their matchmaking settings whether they want skill-based or connection based
b)Rewards:Same as strikes
c)add a training playlist so some players could get a hold of understanding of certain weapons or abilities
3)Trials
Trials is just a mess, awful matchmaking, crappy reward structure and more
1)Change the matchmaking to what I said in the PvP section
2)Update the reward structure to be a lot more rewarding. Like increase tokens or random loot drops
3)Do not punish players for losing matches that they know they have no chance of winning aka remove the 3 loss streak.
Edit: I forgot to mention this part. Allow players to keep the tokens and reputation they got from trials.
4)Gambit
Gambit sort of suffers from the very foundation meaning even if you make updates to gambit, the core problem still remains. Also loot has very poor drop rates.
a) Rework the game mode from the ground up. The least I could say is that make it so it is not so reliant on teamwork kind of like a game of control. In easier words, make gambit a bit similar to the last stand game mode from the division 1
Edit: I forgot to mention the base structure, basically there is zones a, b ,c and each team spawns in one. It is a 6v6 where it is slaying adds and capturing zones also mote generating and banking. When a team banks the sufficient amount of motes, either one of 2 things will happen 1 is that automatically win the match or 2 they face the primeval in the ascendant plain. I will leave bungie to decide on that decision
b) Rewards : same as strikes.
5) Xur. As of right now, xur only has niche uses for new players or players looking for rolls on exotic armor.
a) This is I only adjustment I could think of and that is to make him offer more stuff. Those stuff is something I could not think of but I just let bungie do whatever they want
Also, I want to add on that this season may be similar to operation health in rainbow six siege, well because it is.
In addition, I would suggest these to the season it self,
1) This season is completely free. Paid season track is free and free seasonal activity but because since this is a season of reworks, it could potentially be recycled content but they could be it back with updated loot with an updated perk pool. These activities could either be menagerie or sundial.

1 返信Yes Agreed I would rather this happen then giving us another shitty ass public event type of activity

2 通の返信AbsolutZeroGIにより編集済み: 6/14/2021 5:34:23 AMStrikes are supposed to be barebones activities. They're for people new to the game. It only grants a pinnacle +1 so once you're at light, there's no need to do one. It's not for us, it's for noobs to introduce them to the mechanics of the game. We have GM nightfalls. Those rewards are awesome, there's a seal for it, and it makes strikes super fun and worth doing. Everything has a place. PvP will never not be trash as long as Bungo caters to streamers and the top 10% of players. New players and average players need a progression to get better, because getting beaten like a red headed step child until you "get gud" is not how you learn PvP. Gambit is fine, it's a short, repeatable activity so the drop rates don't need to be astronomical. There are issues with this game, but I honestly don't believe you touched on any of them.

9 通の返信I was on board until I saw the idea to put SBMM in Trials (That is assuming his idea doesn't split the playersbase into a SBMM pool and a CBMM that is. He doesn't clarify.). SBMM completely contradicts with the identity of Trials. But if you want skill brackets, fine. The lowest brackets shouldn't be able to get adept loot at all. Higher skill bracets get adept loot, better armor stat totals, and more loot overall. If the reward doesn't increase with the skill bracket then skill brackets shouldn't be a thing at all. Other than that, I agree. We need a season of just core updates and quality of life updates.

I used to love doing strikes but I just cant anymore, every time I get into a corrupted strike I get filled with dread and leave. An idea I had for a rework is have strikes put you on a random planet with random objectives that lead you to a random boss, that way everytime you go into a strike its always somthing a little different. for example, you start up strikes, zavala tells you there's bin a powerfull knight killing guardians on the moon so it loads you into the moon, you make your way through the moon and than there's a random objective in your way, like a hive lock or an ambush, and keep going till you find the knight and kill him, and than your next strike could be another powerfull hive or a vex hydra but it takes you a completely different route with random objectives.

I disagree with strikes, we need more mechanics and variation than the go here and shoot this add or for most people run past and get to the boss We need more intresting modifiers, guardian games had some good ones and so did heroic adventures

Strikes are bare-bones because they are supposed to be an incremental step towards raids. Up the complexity from Lost Sectors but keep it simple as to not overwhelm with mechanics. They have a point to being what they are.

I'd love if Strikes had seasonal modifiers. An example would be in Season of the Splicer. While running strikes, you have a chance for the Override Barrier Hobgoblins to appear. Killing them drops a data spike as normal, and later on during the strike you encounter one of the vex gates from override. Going in and depositing the data spike gives you the splicers will buff and drops some of the seasonal currency/loot/etc. Alternatively, you have a random chance for your strikes boss to be replaced by bosses from the seasonal activity. In addition to normal loot, they'll also drop seasonal currency/loot.

9 通の返信Pvp and trials arent core issues. They are added gamemodes. I prefer them to not waste time on gamemodes only 10% of the players like.

1 返信I’d love an operation health for this game. Have a season barebones on content but super heavy on quality of life improvements for longevity.

They've removed the better parts of the game and replaced it with thin content. It's been so long since anything has really changed in the game I wonder what are thinking. They could do some simple things and make them better. PVP just tweak some of the maps a bit. Gambit add in a new map every once in a while. Go back to having 2 mods and let people earn the special armor in the prime version. Maybe only have prime 1 week a month. Strikes I'm not sure. They need to be changed up and have some crazy mods that make them funer or do stuff like 6 person match-made grandmasters (it would have less loot or something and a baby mode loot)

Just on "3)Trials" Trials has already had that treatment. In fact, Bungie went even further, removed it from the game entirely for a long period of time, in order to work on it, improve it, get it right. This iteration of Trials is Bungie's best effort at the mode. Sobering.

3 通の返信Bungie is incompetent, chiefly in its leadership. These people will never fix this game. They don't have a clue what a good game is. The project leaders ideas and goals are diametrically apposed to anything that serves the player or creates a viable game. This 'season' is a perfect example: tons of trash mobs that continually spawn in, we take the time to kill them, they drop those stupid frakkin motes bungie won't stop using on everything, and you lose the motes because some stupid hunter is stealing them. Whats more, everything is gated, so the second we move into another 'phase', all the mobs disappear, including the ones you had almost killed. Sometimes they appear and then disappear before they even finished appearing! Then there are the stupid bounties requiring you to get x number of whatevers in one life. No problem, except the bosses and 'almost' bosses all have this insta-kill stomp bs (changed I presume since this seasons 'events' lead up space has nothing to throw us off of). That stomp one shots me even with 10 resilience btw. Of course the boss fights are gated as usual, so that still sucks. And now ALL the players are getting jerked around (teleported) frequently during that awful gated mess. The bottom line for all of it is this: The player feels NO satisfaction for anything in game! Z E R O Thats not a game. Thats homework because your afraid of missing out when Bungie gets their shit together. They wont.

I doubt any change to trials will convince someone like me to ever play it. I’d still continually lose games and would get f tier rolls, because my rng in awful in this game. That and I’d just piss off teammates who’ll have to deal with my lack of skill. Playlist is better off without me.

20 通の返信The custom matchmaking will cause way more issue and it's a bad take on how a good matchmaking should works.... Strikes and PvP is rewarding enough,we got unique drops from them since last season
