You can change exotic perks in one update so why are so so many warlock exotics absolutely useless?

The stag Apotheos veil Skull of dire Winters guile Contraverse hold Starfire protocol Aeon soul Vesper of radius Sanguine alchemy Sort it out. Spare me the comments of "yeah but if you make this super selective and situational build "x" exotic is god tier."

    The Stag is such an insult to the player. An exotic that depends on YOU (Not even teammates) dying. There is hardly any fun factor to it. Such a cool looking exotic yet it has such a bad and boring perk. In fact there are so many exotics for all classes that look cool but seem so damn meh in this game. Hopefully we get an update that does a huge exotic rework.

The Aeon exotics have been too tier on all classes for months now. Contraverse has been the best exotic for void nade builds since forsaken. Starfire gives you more accesses to high damaging grenades. I also know someone who loves using it for double healing nades.

  • Yup, they all suck. Skull was so freaking fun but as usual, streamers complaining about how pve was too easy because everyone was spamming supers. The one freaking mode where players are supposed to feel godly, and idiots like datto talking about how supers were ruining the game. Obsidian mind worked exactly like how skull was before its nerf, you don’t see bungie nerfing that in D1. Its ridiculous how even pve can ruin exotics, skull wasn’t even broken on pvp and still got a nerf. The difference why exotics like shards or ursa were broken was because they didn’t require kills to charge their supers. Shards charged up from hits AND kills which is stupid, it would have been fine if it worked exactly like skull. Ursa was busted because it charged super based on the damage taken while blocking, that too was busted, it took like 4 shots from a hand cannon to instantly charge up the super. It would have been balanced if bungie reduced the amount of super gained when blocking but not to where it currently is.

There is a place for them in specific builds for different situations. That’s what they are designed for. Not everything is a godslayer.
