3 quick notes:
1. 75% of games end in "Mercy" rules without fail. Your matching algorithm team needs a reboot (fire them and hire all new).
2. Hunter Shotgun apes are still the go-to for the sweaty crowd.
3. Hand Cannons are still out of control. Your sandbox team has never fired a real weapon before, eh? Ah, it's Seattle - no wonder.
The one bright spot in Iron Banner is the noticeable reduction in sweaty try-hards using Stasis.

1 返信Maybe you should move to Seattle and learn how to shoot there. Apparently they are better at it than boys who are too proud to admit they aren't all that good at it.

Iron Banner is a mercy rule gamemode by design. By only needing a small lead and the fact you can lock down zones with a hunt, many Iron Banner games are decided within 30 seconds of the match starting (who loses the first major team fight at B). It’s the gamemode more so than the matchmaking being bad (although I’m sure improvements can be made there too).

8 通の返信You guys claiming its the matchmaking lmao! Bruh the only reason there is a mercy every game is because of the hunting mechanic. Being locked for 30 seconds for the enemy to score 3x more points per kill is an easy snowball. 90% of the time, whichever team captures all 3 zones, they now have the extremely easy potential to mercy. Matchmaking has nothing to do with the mercy in iron banner. Even if you all played with players at your level, the mercy rule will still play out you know why? Not everyone is focused on capturing zones, some players are out trying to get 40+ kills per game, others are trying to complete bounties, others are trying new load outs, some players that stick to pve are only in it for the high roll gear.

52 通の返信This games pvp is a joke. Shame knowing the devs avoid the forums They only go public, so if a popular streamer on Reddit were to criticize this game, bungie would cater just to save face value Remember when bungie created halo? For years the most popular pvp game? Shit company ran by neck beards and SJW looking for a tax break

21 通の返信Problem is they went 100% connection based matchmaking, resulting in one side being twice or three times as good as the other. I played a few matches the other day. It was either I was on the side mercying the other or I was getting mercied, no in between. Only times a game was not mercy, was still one team destroying to other. They NEED to reimplement skill based matchmaking factoring. Even if they stay connection based and have tiny weight to skill based, it would be 10 times better than this -blam!-ing crap

4 通の返信You have a 2kd in trials and a 1.4kd in comp but a 0.8kd in quick play. You pay people to play this game for you. Your opinion about pvp is invalid.

1 返信I still love when I shoot bullets at enemies and they don’t even do any damage, resulting in me dying because of it.

I’ve had 5-6 games in a row tonight end by mercy. Just continually pounded by hand canons and shotgun. Had 3 games so far this IB where myself and teammates after the first death keep spawning in the same spot while the 3/4 of the enemy team just stands and shoots at us spawning in over and over. Couldn’t dodge or even shoot back just instantly killed until it’s like 10/70 around the 2 min maybe and it’s mercy.

How about that very suspicious Trials of Osiris activity on your Titan? You seem to have gotten very good very quickly and then gone back to being not very good, especially when looking at your other characters. And considering you're 1330 light you shouldn't have much trouble with Iron Banner considering it is power enabled (minus the artifact of course).

4 通の返信It's not just hunters that shotgun-ape, titans do it a lot too. I actually refuse to use Stompees for the sheer reason they are toxic, even in PvE.

1 返信Opponent team: all flawless with >2.0 kd Me and my team: all scrubby with <1.6 kd Go figure how freelance’s balancing is designed. My friends went on a 26 consecutive mercy. The fact that Bungie made an emblem for that just shows how little they care about balancing.

3 通の返信Currently that's how it's designed. Deliberate snowballing. It's a mechanic designed to give the better team the overwhelming advantage. It was never meant to truly be a fair fight. However. I don't remember the design including lopsided Lobbies. For example. Matching into a game with 6 on one side and 4 on the other. No game should start until all the slots are filled. But the algorithm is like "yo times up good luck have fun"
