The new guns drop with tokens this IB those are what you wanted to hold not bounties.

Hang on..... Your blaming bungie for your issue? The issue that you think you should be able to do said bounty again after hoarding it. Course it should lock you out, as someone said the pool of bounties is small. Hoard your tokens and not the bounties unless you want new loot as that worked from last season to this one. I need the biggest of facepalm emotes to explain this whole topic. It's just not a valid issue and you should take it down. It's not a game issue either.

Holding onto completed IB bounties is fine for two things. 1) Saving them for the +2 bonus when needed for leveling up. Say I'm at 1317 (I'm not) and want to say them till I hit 1318 so I get them to drop at 1320. 2) At the end of the season for a 'chance' of a new next seasons weapon when the new season starts (I got the new IB HC on Splicer day 1. But [b]NEVER[/b] save them to the start of the next IB. Its the same as every other bounty if you save them. Come back the next day/week and you are limited to the bounties you get to select from as you still have the old one(s) on you. Again the only time you really want to do this is at the beginning of a new season so you get experience and seasonal rewards super fast.

There is only a small selection of IB Bounties, so it is inevitable that if you hold on to them, then you will be limited wi IB Bounties on the next IB. Sorry!

Never keep bounties, only tokens, Bungie likes to -blam!- us.
